FlipBelt Portable Lightweight Running Water Bottle

I've already bought three of these because they're so good. If you're anything like me and hate the feeling of a water bottle bouncing around during your run, this nifty little running water bottle is about to become your new best friend. It's designed to slide seamlessly into any compatible running belt, and let me tell you, it stays put. No more wrestling with awkwardly shaped bottles or dealing with chafing during my morning jogs—this one has found its perfect home. One of the standout features is the bottle's ergonomic, curved design. It hugs the body like it was custom-made just for me, making it so comfortable that I often forget I'm even carrying it. Whether I'm sprinting at full tilt or just enjoying a leisurely walk, I remain blissfully unaware of its presence, which is exactly what I want from my gear. Another big plus is the material. It's made from BPA-free, 100% HDPE plastic, so I don’t have to worry about ingesting any unwanted chemicals. It's also dishwasher safe, and that alone makes my life easier. After a long run, the last thing I want to do is spend more time cleaning, so popping it in the dishwasher is a real time-saver. What's also neat is its versatility. On longer treks, I can stash two of these bottles in my belt, along with my phone or any other essentials. It's impressive how much this little bottle can handle without weighing me down. I’ve been using a flip belt and their water bottles for almost a decade, and it’s my favorite way to carry water for short to medium length runs. I had both a 6oz and an 11oz bottle in their previous design and used them constantly. Even if I’m not wearing the belt, I can fit the smaller bottle in my side pocket in my shorts, and sometimes the bigger bottle fits depending on the shorts. It was finally time to replace them, so I was excited to try their updated design. I love the new caps, and the bottles are actually a tiny bit bigger in terms of capacity. The opening is much wider, so it’s easier to clean, and I can actually fit a nuun tablet in there now. I will say, I had a full bottle in my side pocket while I was driving, and noticed a little leaking out the top, but only because it was at such an odd angle that it was tipped backwards. While I’m running there isn’t any leaking happening, and the new cap design is much easier to use and grab a quick drink. Overall, a great upgrade and addition to my flip belt.

Bottles fit my flipbelt. Curved nicely to contour the body. Easy to squeeze while running. Has flow control that I wasn’t expecting. I choose to handwash water bottles, and there is no “plastic” smell or taste after the first wash.

This bottle is perfect! It took me a moment to figure out how to get the water out. Perfect for short walks/runs in the hot desert! Fits perfectly in my fanny pack. Super durable, I drop everything and this has survived several times, the durability is important, has a bit of a stretch. Had a weird smell when I opened it, but washed it with warm soapy water and the smell is gone. Easy to clean with a bottle cleaner and straw cleaners for the mouth piece. Light weight, I didn’t need it for hydrating, more for my mouth getting dry. Price is excellent, not a huge marathoner or anything so just needed something small.

This is my second purchase of this bottle. So why buy it again if I only give it three stars? What I like about it: It's sleek and fits well into the FlipBelt (as it should). The nozzle and delivery system are fine. What I don't like about it: it's too thin at the corners. Just one slip out of the belt, which tends to happen unless you wear it on the front, and the bottle will crash to the ground. And if you're running on anything other than grass it's likely to crack at the corners. My solution was to put tape on the vulnerable edges. Fabric tape protects it more but makes it harder to take in and out of the belt. Smooth tape, like electrical tape (haven't tried that yet), would probably work better for access but may not offer enough corner protection. The smaller bottles are just as thin. The first one I received was cracked in shipment and had to be sent back. Overall however, I like the FlipBelt system and the freedom it gives when running. My recommendation is to buy it then create your own insurance with how you carry it until they improve the design. Note for FlipBelt: I would rather it hold less and be more durable.

I've had my flipbelt since early 2018, and it is still going strong. After 5+ years of use, it honestly works just as well as it did the first day I received it (it hasn't lost any of its ability to stretch/reform, either). I recently decided to purchase one of flipbelt's little water bottles bc I got tired of carrying one and knocking it out of my hand whenever I'd graze my leg. I purchased the 11oz one, and it works well with the belt. What I find alarming is the number of people in these reviews who are complaining about their bottle falling out. Ya'll. Flip your belt. That is *quite literally* how this item is designed to be used. Yes, items can and will slide out of the side holes if you leave those parts exposed while running. That is not a flaw in either the belt or the water bottle, that is user error. If your belt is the correct size for your waist, and you *FLIP YOUR BELT* so the holes aren't exposed, you can quite literally be thrown off a mountain and your water bottle will still be tucked against you. So... if you understand how to best use this item, you will get tons of miles out of it. If you don't want to be bothered to flip your belt whenever you want a drink, then this item isn't for you.

Exactly what I needed. I purchased the 150 ml size. Fits perfect in the FlipBelt (I kept mine in the back). No sloshing noises / distraction at all. Make sure to fill it completely. Absolutely no issues with leakage either. I just unscrewed the cap and sipped during brief running pauses. No plastic taste, which was great. The only thing I tasted was my dish washing soap , so make sure to rinse it properly after washing. I think this worked best for SMALL SIPS. It is not a hydration bottle, more just a thirst quencher, just when you need it. Will try the larger size for longer runs, but for now, this is a good value for the price!

Ran multiple long distance with it in my flipbelt, could not notice that i had it on the whole time. very snug to the body, does not leak.

Excellent addition to my running gear. The shape of the bottle, though at first seems like a gimmick but I have found that the shape is a massive win. I use it with the FlipBelt running belt and it works like a charm. No need for awkwardly running while trying to get it out for a sip 10km in. The colour is great, love it and while there is a noticeable plastic rubber taste, it is not that bad to cause me issue. I have yet to experience a leak with my bottle. Would recommend anyone who is running and needs a water bottle.

Die große Flasche sowie den Gürtel besitze ich bereits längere Zeit. natürlich hat diese Flasche ein geringes Fassungsvermögen, aber für den Notfall ist das völlig ok. Der Verschluss ist sehr gut und da ich die größere Flasche schon geraume Zeit im Einsatz habe, ist von langlebiger Qualität auszugehen.
