Fuel Vapour Purge Valve Replacement For 2012-2017 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque L538 2015-2017 Discovery Sport 2.0T

I originally left a 1-star review because the first EVAP purge valve I received didn’t work at all. It was frustrating, and it didn’t solve the issue on my vehicle. The manufacturer reached out immediately and sent a replacement at no cost. The second unit worked perfectly. After installing it, the original problem I was dealing with went away completely. I appreciate a company that stands behind its products and takes care of customers when something goes wrong. Because of how quickly they resolved the issue—and the fact that the replacement part fixed everything—I’m updating my review to five stars.

Compatible with 2013 Range Rover Evoque (US spec). It will take a bit of work to get this installed because the old one is permanently installed in the hose and will need to be cut out. You'll then need to come up with a way to replace the line you cut out. This is still significantly easier and cheaper than the standard repair which requires replacement of the entire EVAP system from engine to gas tank since all the connections are permanently heat formed. To install: Cut the old solenoid out. 5/16" fuel vapor hose will fit onto the new solenoid (it will be tight), and then slip the 5/16" hose over the outside of the old hose that you cut. Add hose clamps or zip ties if you like but it seems to be a snug enough fit to not need it.

I’ve just installed it yesterday and so far it’s working great. I was able to put gas in my car without any problems or any hesitation so far so good

Unfortunately the part I got was either used or defective. The o ring that the picture shows was missing so I used the one off the old valve and should have just sent it back since a mechanic tested the valve and showed it doesn't hold vacuum when not active. Unfortunately I can't return it because it's past the return date. If you order one test it before and make sure it comes with the small o ring or you will be ordering another one.

When working on a land rover in the country, it can be difficult to find euro parts. This arrived quick, and was a perfect fit.
