What is the difference between the sm and smr versions? both say reduced vibration handle.

Usually, a hammer's weight and size has to do with the job. Some jobs require the extra force of a larger and heavier hammer and other jobs, no as much force. Also, a user who is heavier and stronger can bear the weight of a larger hammer which takes more strength to use.

Quality long handled steel hammer.

Quality product with long nicely cushioned handle. Long claws which some other hammers don't have. Like another tool the packaging was severely brocken which meant I nearly didn't rececive it.
