works exactly as described
it's a pretty simple thing, its an easy and compact way to make coffee. The coffee it makes is strong and bitter, that can be a plus or minus depending on your taste. It's also convenient for travel or camping as you don't need filters or anything, and it's super easy to clean up when you're done. Don't forget to stock up on sweetened condensed milk!

Amazing for Vietnamese coffee!
This is very small and should be used for a single-serve cup of coffee (trust me, I tried to make 3 servings with this and the coffee grounds got stuck and it didn't work out lol). Anyways, I bought some Cafe Du Monde coffee grounds and this phin worked perfectly with it. I can't stop drinking Vietnamese iced coffee now

It is what it is
Pros: Easy to clean. Easy to use, the design is simple, quality is good, brewing time is okay, the product is good just think I had user error due to never using this type before. Cons: burning yourself with water, if the metal disk has water on it at all it will create a suction that wont allow water to pass through and will flood your counter, the holes are big so a lot of grounds pass through, and it took longer to get to the finished product than I wanted to wait.
