And is still functional but fairly beat after 12 years+ They’ve obviously made some upgrades to the bags since, there’s lots of room in them the pockets are deeper and there is added leather reenforcement around, as well as a clip which I put an extra pocket on. I got the suspenders as well which pair great. They’re a little uncomfortable at first they’re stiff obviously need to be broken in. I get tons of compliments on them from homeowners and other tradesman. I have everything I could want stuffed into them (they are heavy) get the suspenders, and I personally wear overalls so my bags don’t try to drag my pants down. Overall I would say this is a great choice for the all around carpenter who is doing a variety of projects daily or weekly. I wouldn’t say they are necessary for your average framer or roofer, They are probably too bulky. But I think $400 for 14 years is a pretty good deal.
