Champion Over-Spec Ballistic Glasses (Amber)

I got them for a family member who never wears safety glasses, because he can't see. These fit well over his glasses and he actually wears them. They feel more solid than I expected for the price.

These light amber shooting glasses are just what I'd hoped they'd be. The light amber color of the lenses is the correct degree of tint to enhance contrast without dimming the sight picture. I've tried to use an inexpensive pair of amber driving glasses; but they cut down the light too much for my old eyes. The indoor range where I shoot can be rather dim downrange and I believe these Champions will help with that. The glasses "snap fit" to my horn-rimmed prescription glasses. My horn-rim frames measure 1.5" high by 5.5" wide at the hinges. These shooting glasses fit tightly and literally snap into place to grip the outside of my prescription glasses' hinges and the bottom of the frames. They are almost like wearing clip-ons, except that they have side shields and their own bows to help keep them secure on my head. When I wear them over my glasses I'm not aware that they are there, except for the amber tint. These Champions are much better than the other Over your glasses safety/shooting glasses that I own and have borrowed at the range previously.

I love these. The improve contrast and are light as a feather.

I was having difficulty driving at night, blinded by super bright headlights and the glare of other lights. When I asked my ophthalmologist about night-driving glasses, he suggested I try a pair of the anti-glare glasses hunters use. These! They make an amazing difference! They fit over my regular glasses and are sufficiently comfortable for me to wear on long drives. And they completely cut the blinding glare from streetlights, oncoming traffic and billboards. I feel much safer driving at night with these on.
