says it keeps things hot 14 hours, just received and it says no hot liquids on instructions? so is it safe for using hot liquids?

I have 3 on these for my whole house hold. Just like any other stainless steel water bottles. You never want to utilize your bottles for both hot liquid and cold liquids. Why? Because once you add hot liquid. Like coffee for instance, your bottle will always have a coffee after taste. I'm not sure if you have a used coffee thermos/tumbler at home. try drinking cold water in it. It will have after taste of coffee. Yes, while it does say it keeps hot liquid hot for 14 hrs, which is doable...I usually, keep my cold liquids tumblers separate from hot liquid tumblers for that reason. Its hard for me to drink hot coffee from a tumbler that has a straw, end up burning.

Does this really keep water cold for the advertised time on the bottle?

Yes it does. I have 3 of these. For my whole house hold. 2 for work and 1 for school. We also use them for travel. It holds ice for over 24 hrs and keeps water nice and cold. I like that it's twist cap. I love that the straw is hidden. With COVID and other things going around. No one can sneeze on it or touch the straw area with their hands. Also, since we can't bring water when checking into the airport but ice is ok. I fill these up with ice prior to checking into the airport. Then just fill up with water after going through TSA. Only downfall, it doesn't fit in the standard vehicle cup holder.

Will this fit in an automobile cup holder?

It doesn't fit in a standard vehicle cup holder. Unless you have one of those trucks with extend cup holders.

Will this fit in a car cup holder?

No it does not. Honestly don’t think these are real does not keep water cold too long. Ice melts pretty fast.
