MediPEDS Men's 8 Pack Diabetic Crew Socks with Non-Binding Top

I got these for my husband who is not diabetic. He has other issues and his socks were cutting in at the top band and leaving deep impressions in his legs. Even when he pushed them down he ended up with the impressions in his ankles. When I told him I was getting these socks for him he was annoyed, telling me he could just wear ankle socks. Then they arrived. They were softer than expected and who doesn't like soft socks? Even if the man wouldn't ever admit it, he likes it. They don't cut in on his legs at all. And, they stay up. I don't know how well they'll go through the laundry yet but I expect that next time he needs socks I'll be buying the same ones.

Not diabetic but calves swell during the day and regular socks are binding. These are soft and comfortable and do not get tight on the top of my calves.

I have diabetes, as well as pretty bad arthritis in my fingers. The expensive name brand socks I bought in the past were beginning to cut into my legs. With the arthritis in my fingers I had trouble pulling my old socks on and back off again. And many times they were very damp when I took them off. MediPeds solved all of that. By comparison the MediPeds stretch easily, yet the stay up on ankles. The material and open weave design provide ventilation and wick moisture away. I no longer have difficulty getting my socks on and off. And there are no seams to rub against and irritate the toes. Medipeds are also sold in drugstores and retail stores including Walmart. However, you can't beat the price and convenience of purchasing from Amazon. I had many different colors of socks. There are not as many color choices for MediPeds, but so far I have only purchased black MediPeds. I have found that it greatly simplifies my life not having so many different colors and styles of socks. Sure makes sorting socks a lot easier after they come out of the dryer.

So soft and comfy! And just the right amount of grip and comfort around my ankles and calves. Very well made and great quality. Will definitely be buying more.

Very long and stays up

Highly recommend these for diabetes was told they are very soft and comfortable and highly recommend.

The originals were great. These new versions are tight and thin. No real extra padding on the base. They really are nothing like they used to be. I've given up and moved on to Loose Fit and haven't looked back.

Not all Medipeds are the same. The item pictured in the listing are the Medipeds made in Honduras. Those Medipeds have the word "Medipeds" printed on the toe. The made in Honduras socks are good quality. The item I actually received is not the item pictured in the listing. I received Medipeds with a simple red and blue band on the toes, no word "Medipeds". These banded Medipeds are made in China and are inferior in quality to those made in Honduras. Even more concerning, the tag with the socks has "Made in Honduras" on the front, but "Made in China" on the back. The socks are definitely made in China.

Does what it says on the label

As a diabetic I have come to depend on these socks. USA made (if authentic) they last for many years. Super comfortable, no pinching no nasty constriction marks and really warm. These were for dad who is very hard to please... he was delighted with them. Do not hesitate in buying this product.

As I have ankle swelling I find it hard to get socks that don't cut into my legs. Even All Day and other non-elasticated top socks are usually too tight to begin with. These socks, however, are very comfortable, nicely made and cause no adverse restriction or marking to my skin. Great price too.
