For the past few months I have been dealing with our neighbors outdoor cats using my flowerbed as a litter box and digging up my plants.......I tried every natural thing that I could in the flowerbed: cayenne pepper, garlic powder, lemon, red pepper flakes and even coyote urine granules I bought from a local store. None of it worked.......every morning I would wake up to a huge mound(s) of mulch and cat poop in my flowerbed. I was so frustrated that I was thinking of changing the mulch out for lava rock but I thought I would try an ultrasonic device before I went to that kind of trouble. I researched several different devices and finally decided on this one because it wasn't too expensive and had a wide span for picking up the animals body heat. Since I put this device in my flowerbed I have not had a single cat poop in my flowerbed, it worked so well that I was actually surprised because these types of devices get mixed reviews and the company said it may take a little while for it to work. Anyways I was thinking of ordering another one for when I put in my garden later this spring to make sure the cats stay out of there as well. *****UPDATE***** This product does work for my neighbor cats, however it does go through batteries really quickly and as soon as it is removed the cats start coming back. The other part is that I would not suggest paying $40 for this product, I bought it at less than $25 but since then the price has doubled and that is ridiculous.

Seller send a a million papers and encourages questions and they are there to help. I sent a email asking for help, 4 days later no response. I am not sure its working as there are cats in my yard just 15 feet away, the deer I don't know they come at 3am usually but unsure where I have them set works. Not impressed by the customer service and waiting 4 days is not horrible. But when a company pushed the fact they are there for you and then doesn't respond timely I question the commitment to the product, this is actually the longest response I have had from any Amazon seller most are 24 hours not 4 days and as of the time of this review still no answer. They should not push the customer service as a selling point and then not deliver, sure people are busy but making that claim requires backing it up and is why I marked a star for it. The unit is small, and motion lens wont last long in direct sun light its made of the same material you see on motion sensor lights thats a huge concern where I have mine located summer sun will be on it along time because this is the problem area. I may try and mount it close to the house if and when I can see it working. Its battery run or ac thru the adapter. for the price I was expecting more options and a better built for weather, this will most likely fade the first summer and the stake is thin and will most likely break with hot cold changes its just to thin. Does it work, I have no idea it did not repel cats in my yard only feet away I do have it for deer and that needs to be seen. I will increase stars if and when customer service ever responds and if I can ensure the unit works, Right now not impressed by the unit or the service. This thing is pricey compared to other units and it does not have free shipping or prime eligible it arrived on time which was good being I paid for shipping. I can't recommend it yet, not sure its legit due to my experience so far. Update : Unit lights up, and test work as the should. I have more animals in my yard now then before. This unit is not working as it should, not worth the hassle of returning the item. But it does " NOT" work as it should its just an expensive piece of plastic in my yard :)

Every spring and summer the deer eat my golden euonymus bushes so much that they never have an opportunity to grow taller. I see the deer come at night on my front porch camera, eating the bushes and also all my flowers. I use hot pepper wax spray, but it gets very expensive because of how much I have to use and how often I have to reapply. I decided to give this device a try. I bought one a month ago. My camera has not caught one deer in my yard since. My bushes are growing! Then one night my beautiful morning glory got devoured in my side yard and I realized now that I've discouraged the deer from my front porch area they have moved to the side of the house. So I bought a second one of these. My morning glory is growing back! Then the front porch device started randomly turning itself off. Unplugging and replugging would fix it, but it kept happening. I contacted Cleanrth and they are sending me a replacement!! I love this company!! It's true these devices can't be heard by human ears. There is a very quiet click sound when I walk around in the yard, and a dim red light that turns on when it detects motion. I actually like the click because I know the device is working. These have super long power cords and even though they are visible in my garden, they don't draw the eye. I do wish there was no red light because it shows up at night, but I'm so thrilled I've found something that works that I am okay with the light. If you're on the fence about this one, give it a try! I'm so glad I did!

My neighborhood has a lot of raccoons, mice and rats that gets in the garbage, and mice that enter the house at times. I put this device up the other day and so far, I haven't seen any raccoons and rodents since, so i believe this repellent is doing it's job. It makes me feel safer and less frightened in the area now, so I would definitely recommend to anyone who has the same problem with rodents and such. Worth the purchase!!
