Best for first time dates to release tension or just get comfortable. Definitely had fun using this.

I like the fact that it opens up communication and comes to the rescue when you are out of ideas. It’s mixed of fun conversation and deep ones. I and my boyfriend go on dates and each pick a card and we dive deep or laugh about the topic at hand. It’s worth it if two people want to see the relationship grow and develop into some thing like marriage.

Has a mix of great questions (especially to spice things up) and a few questions that you would never want to ask a date IMHO lol (I simply pulled these out). Definitely a fun way to get to know someone, even after you’ve been dating a while. My girlfriend and I still regularly pull a card or two on a random night in.

The Date deck is small (50 cards) with 5 categories and it seems that you're within one or maybe two of these categories at any stage of your relationship. So you might only be able to use 10 cards at a time. Now, that would be acceptable if these questions were profound or even unique, but they are so obvious and stereotypical questions that I had to roll my eyes at them. If you don't know to ask about someone's favorite show, movie, or band then I guess you really do need these cards. Overall, the idea is good, but it falls short. Other more focused and larger packs by the same company are probably better.

Helpful hints for building good communication while dating.

Got this deck to spark some fun conversations in a relatively new relationship, and it was very fun and led to some genuine interesting discussions. Helped bring some things out into the open that are hard to talk about organically and overall we had 2 great afternoon/evenings going through the cards and getting to know each other. For the price it was a lot of fun and would definitely plan to get some other card sets from this series!
