Thick enough to keep hands warm for short time while the mittens are off during the hike. And they keep the skin dry. On their own, not very useful, and don't use them that way. Also, they really stick to valcro and gets damaged. I have to take them off to wear the crampons. I suspect most liners will have issue with valcro. Hopefully they last few years, I only use them below 25 F, anything above, I use regular gloves. The phone touch does work with them ON, that was a nice surprise. I wish they were cheaper, would buy more pairs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Run a little big. *by R***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 7, 2014* Bought these to replace a pair of silk liners that were junk. They are a little thicker than the silk gloves but can still be easily used under a heavier winter glove/mitt. Not only are they a little warmer they seem like they should hold up to normal wear much better too. My only complaint is sizing thus a loss of one star. I normally wear a large (my hand is 8.5 inches around) in most gloves so that is what I bought. I should have ordered the medium as the gloves are a little long in the fingers. For the price, I will probably be ordering another pair soon.Update (11/18/14): Had to buy another pair thanks to my dogs. I bought a medium this time and they fit much better. Used them under some heavy duty leather motorcycle gloves on a 30 degree day with speeds up to 50 MPH and they seemed to help a bit, I would venture to guess about 5-10 degrees more. These are definitely liners as they are made out of a woven single layer Polypropylene and don't stop much wind by themselves. Maybe good for running or hiking in 50 degree + to take the chill off. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Glove measured *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 10, 2016* With my hand palm up I measure from tip off longest finger to middle of first crease on wrist where forearm curves up into hand. get 7 3/4". So a medium size male hand. Put these gloves on and they extend maybe 1/4 " above fingers. This after snugging down between fingers. So a little long but maybe not too annoyingly so. Suspect though that if your fingers are long enough to fit glove exact that hand will be too wide and gloves too tight in width as for me width is as snug as I'd want it. Has 2% spandex.New out of package before tug on a few times were 10 1/2 " long bottom of cuff to tip of long fingerTried and reviewed GI poly gloves by rothco also on Amazon and they are exact length.
