Why would anyone pay this much for a single refill of soap? What am I missing?

It’s Rubbermaid…foaming soap. You can get a generic soap dispenser or a push style and refill from bottle but if not used constantly, they tend to clog. That has been my experience. This auto dispenser regulates the soap and the soap is sealed in the bag. It actually lasts long in my public restroom. Hope that helps.
