Orchard Toys First Times Tables Game, Multi-Colour

Very good quality play piece's which will last a long time.

My little one was lacking confidence with his times tables so we bought this game as a fun way to learn without putting to much pressure on him. He loves it and it is now his game of choice. He enjoys filliping over the pancakes to check his answer and the game really appealed to his learning style and helped him to grasp the concept of multiplication. The game recommends that you only play for 10 minutes which I think is a sensible recommendation. Works for 2, 5 and 10 times table and a great little introduction to timetables if you are at the start of that journey, this would be too easy for those who are already confident with the concept of multiplication. As usual Orchard toys are high quality and illustrated beautifully with kids in mind. The addition of their app for timers and instruction was also a lovely step.

Trae sólo tres o cuatro tablas de multiplicar, sólo vais a poder trabajar con esas. Se trata de ir girando una ruleta y viendo qué ingrediente toca, para después resolver la multiplicación que aparece en cada uno de los ingredientes, los cuales servirán para "decorar tu tortita". Es una forma lúdica de enseñar a los niños a multiplicar, recomiendo que al principio se usen materiales físicos para demostrar cómo se hacen las multiplicaciones (garbanzos, contadores...). Viene con unas regletas donde aparecen las tres o cuatro tablas que se trabajan en el juego. Importante: sí trae instrucciones en español.

Great for my son who needs some (a lot) of encouragement to learn his times tables. Really fun and quick and easy to set up and play.
