is 240 watts the maximum? I have a 300 watt 40v solar panel i want to use to supply daylight 12v to a fan and security camera to. will work? losses?

Yes, 240 Watts is the maximum but something to keep in mind when dealing with power ratings (Watts). The key to your power requirements is the load. In your case this is the power requirements of the fan and camera. As long as the power requirements of these two devices is less than 240 Watts then you will be OK. A power source, which in your case is the solar panel, will only deliver the amount of power being drawn by your fan and camera. The rating on your solar panel is telling you that it can deliver Up To 300 Watts. Yes, 300 Watts exceeds the capabilities of the Voltage Reducer (240 Watts) but as long as your fan and camera never draw that much power your solar panel will never deliver it.

Will this work on an EZ Go to run the headlights and tail lights?

Yes, should work with 48 volt input to get 12 volt output - but is limited to 10 amps output. To much load will require more amps.

Where can i find a wiring diagram to install? There were no directions included in the package. I have 4 colored wires and not sure how to install

The red and black wires are the 48 volt input connections from the batteries. The remaining yellow and brown (I think) are the 12 volt 10 amp output connections to wire your accessories. Be sure to mount this somewhere that heat is not a factor as unit gets hot when stepping down the current.

Why won't this work to convert a car accessory 12v to a pc battery charger 19V?

I attach 2 48 volt electric bicycle batteries with not heat issues. No experience with Auto or Equipment application.

Worked great for LG TV so it can run off 12V in RV

Just needed to wire up the necessary input connector for 12V DC from existing accessory outlet in our RV and adding a 6.5x4.4mm plug for the output to match up to the LG TV input. After wiring was done and tested, it worked great to power the LG TV so we can enjoy some entertainment when dry camping without adding an inverter.

I got this to boost my solar panel voltage a little bit so I put a 12 volt 75 watt 4amp solar panel on this 12 volt to 19 volt 5 amp booster and then that's going to my charge controller and like the rest of this cheap Chinese crap it's only putting out barely eight and a half volts total garbage don't waste your money
