This book is very good for any beginner that needs an introduction to read and write notes.

Originally I had started my 6 year old on other music theory books aimed at younger kids which has stickers etc but she actually found them too babyish. So I started her on these a bit later when she was 7 and she found it straightforward to follow and could work through them at her own pace. Am really pleased as they seem a lot easier to read and follow compared to the old Music Theory in Practice books I used when I was around her age.
