An important work spiritually on sexuality. The discussion of Jacob's Ladder as an approach to real celibacy over lifetimes is excellent. This plus Haich's book "Initiation" are strongly recommended, especially the second half of that latter work.

5 stars because it's one of the most important books I've read. I thought "Initiation" was great then found that this was even more important. I liked that it was an informative guide about the power of sexual ENERGY and how to use it to become Creative Spiritual Energy. I recommend it to any sincere seeker on the path to God Realization. I recommend it to any young person in adolescence or older to give them techniques to ease the sexual tension that builds up and give them the wisdom not to deplete their sexual energy (their vital life energy) by overuse of their sexual organs and the wisdom to know what sexual practice is in compliance with Divine Law. I recommend it to married couples.

brief summary: inversions help to transform sexual energy into more divine creative and kind actions. i am yet to have the diligence, strength, and balance to have a daily yoga practice, though i wish to very much! i shall see soon whether inversions and yoga heal and create healers personally. i esteem and share elizabeth haich's view on the sacredness of sexual union!

This a good book to help a person understand and balance one’s sexual energy as it relates to yoga. I personally feel it is important for each of us to read and seek as many avenues of freedom and self expression with regards to our abilities and creativity, and learning how our own sexual energy is intertwined in our quest of becoming our best and most prolific Self. If you're into abstinence moderated by abstemiousness; if you're into iron-willed discipline and think the devil never sleeps, that god is out there somewhere waiting for you and you only need a couple of yoga moves (there's very little about yoga here) and all you need is some guidance in how to, now & then, masturbate mindfully to attain a full, technical understanding of Haich's compilation of dogmas, this book is for you. I'm into Tantra and the joy of the spontaneous dance. I saw a quote from Liz in The Art of Sexual Ecstasy: The Path of Sacred Sexuality for Western Lovers (Which I consider GREAT!!) and bought the book based simply on that. It was, for me, a mistake. I gave this 5 stars because it is an exceptional piece of art, as well as it has arrived swiftly and is a fine addition to my collection of Elisabeth Haich's literature. This book is designed to layout the path of a yogi and a wizard, as we learn to access our sexual energy and transform it to higher vibratory expressions on the column towards ascension up Jacob's Ladder. ~Joel

One of the most enlightening books I have ever read which has changed my outlook on life and given me the perfect tools to channel my energy and reach spiritual heights.

A must read for those who wish to increase their knowledge and their experience of an increases consciousness.

Inspiring, enlightening

I can definitely say that Elisabeth knew about the power of sexual energy. Her focus is on the use of sexual energy for spiritual growth. She explains how sex energy can be transformed into spiritual energy. She is not against sex, but shows how it can be used in a positive manner. She is not in favour of promiscuous sex because it has no love. I must admit that while reading the book I couldn’t stop thinking whether she was not telling the Whole Truth about the sexual energy and sex purposely or she just didn’t know it. Maybe she was not allowed to divulge it openly I really don’t know. But from what I know there is someone who torn the veil open before the public and said the whole truth about the sexual energy and all its secrets. So if you want to go into the depths of the matter and want to know everything then read the works of Samael Aun Weor. You can start with his first and the most important book The Perfect Matrimony.
