LOVELY FLAVOR!
This is very pleasant stuff. One tea-bag produces enough flavor for about 8 ounces of boiling hot water. It's mild and isn't bitter at all. This is quite comparable to Yerba Mate, but not quite as strong.

Worked as advertised would buy again and again
I bought this tea after reading that one of its notable properties is it aids in reducing water retention. I was recently diagnosed with lymphedema which causes water retention in my legs and arms. I was looking for something to help decrease the water retention without having to use prescribed water pills as they keep me homebound once taken for hours. They worked just as advertised. I am not bound to stay home for hours on end. The strength of the tea depends on how long you allow it to steep. I love a strong tea and this one provides. It has a woody pine taste which I enjoyed. I bought another package and sent to a friend who absolutely enjoy it too. She was pleased with the fact she can steep it lighter and still enjoy the woodsy taste!

Delicious tea!
Very good tea! This yaupon tea has a mild taste, which reminds me of both green and black teas. I bought the light roast, and I really like the taste of it. I really like that yaupon is the only caffeinated plant native to North America and especially this Lost Pines area. I usually put a small amount honey or blue agave syrup in my tea, and this seems to compliment it well. Delicious!

Pricey
The tea is good, not bitter, but too expensive compared to other teas.

Great Value
I was a little hesitant at first sip but by the end of my first cup I was hooked. I'm not normally a tea drinker but I'm trying to cut back on my coffee and this has helped. This Yaupon tea has a great taste and I would definitely recommend it. Only thing that annoys me is the bags float and wont sink once they soak up water. I brew 4 bags in a carafes with roughly 900ml of water for 5 minutes.

Delicious and gently invigorating
Ordered from Lost Pines Yaupon on a whim after learning about yaupon. I'm really glad I did, because I love this stuff and they have excellent customer service. Everyone I've shared it with has loved it too. I've tried the light roast and the dark roast, and have tried both hot brew and cold brew. Both roasts are good and both brewing methods are good, but I do prefer the light roast cold brewed for about 12-14 hours, because I like it a bit on the stronger side. I mix it with oat milk and a bit of maple syrup, and it's incredible. Very smooth and calm energy boost and great flavor. It's also very mellow on my stomach. Regular black tea, green tea, or coffee can all upset my stomach if I drink them on an empty stomach, but I don't experience that stomach upset with yaupon. Highly recommend Lost Pines Yaupon, but I suggest buying a sizeable amount each time to save on shipping. It's well packaged and won't go bad before you can use it.
