Winter is almost here and I like to keep a couple of these in my vehicle in case of a cold weather emergency. The carry bag it comes in is not much larger than a paperback book. The reflective surface on the inside keeps body heat in. The carry bags are large enough that I also carry a space blanket (same idea) with the sleeping bag. These will not replace your regular 4-season sleeping bag, but if you have a breakdown in cold weather it might keep you alive until help arrives. Like most similar products, it could be a challenge to fold it up correctly to get it back in the bag, but they are inexpensive enough that the cost for a single use isn't a burden.

Well packaged. Small size fits in all kits. A way to keep safe in emergency.

Hope I never have to use them, but this is a option for that emergency. Great little package and nicely done product.

So let’s hope this is 5 stars! Have not removed from package and will not until it’s a true emergency. I love that it’s lightweight for our backpack and compact for hiking. We each have one with the two pack and I love that. I will bring these in the fall/winter/spring hikes we do. I have fallen on the ice (took my spikes off thinking I didn’t need them!) and if I had seriously injured myself, at least I could keep warm if need be, waiting for rescue team. We only do small mountains, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. So many people are unprepared for hiking. I don’t want to be one of them. The bright orange color - if I should fall off-trail or less traveled trails, will help rescuers to find me. I think every hiker should have these.

Surprised but everything they advertised is true. Kept me warm in a snow storm.

I was looking for two affordable, lightweight, emergency sacs that my partner and I could bring while hiking. All of the ones at the big camping/hunting stores were so pricey. These fit the bill! These aren't puffy, comfy sleeping bags - they are thin, reflective sacs that will keep you warm in case you need to spend a night unexpectedly. I might get a couple more for my car for emergencies. This is one of those things that you should always have, but will hopefully never have to use.

Good product for survival kit.

I like the protective bag they come in and the size. They are thin which makes them very compact
