How long to punch the hole, then load the filling , inject and then clean everything up?

It takes a bit of time to clean up if you use peanut butter. Punching hole does not take long...just the cleanup part.

Are all the pieces dishwasher safe? It’s not mentioned anywhere.

No, there is one piece that cores the banana that is not dishwasher safe. It’s actually easier to wash it by hand though and they provide a cleaning tool.

What’s the deal with this thing?

It basically cores the middle of the Bannana so you can then fill it with whatever you like. Example, Nutella, caramel, Dulce de Leche, jams, etc.
