Never doubt the quality of Kuryakyn. I had another smaller bag for shorter trip and bought this for the longer distance. Great for long road trips, with more space to store the necessities.

Have not used yet but will in a matter of days for a trip. Bag is large and very well made with a lot of D-ring and mounting loops. Was supposed to come with a rain cover but didn’t receive that? Still happy with the purchase other than the very high price. After getting a few answers about the rain cover I found it in the very bottom zipper pocket on the front of the bag.

I had an old Kuryakyn Full Dresser tail bag that came with my 2001 Honda Magna, and it started to come apart at the zipper. Since it had become so brittle from sun damage, I decided to research new tail bags to see what would suit my purposes. I was originally looking at Saddlemen bags, but they were a little too expensive for me. I checked into new Kuryakyn bags and saw the review video over at RevZilla, and I was very intrigued. I figured the Road Warrior bag was large enough for my usual commuting and my weekend rides, and I can always mount extra bags on the exterior MOLLE points. When it arrived, I was immediately impressed by the structure and durability of the material, as it was a definite step up from my previous bag. The 1200-denier nylon is as tough, if not tougher, than my traveling luggage. The bottle pockets are convenient for holding drinks so I don’t have to open the bag compartments unnecessarily. The main compartment has more than enough space to hold my helmet if I want to store it in there, or to carry all of my tools when I’m riding for work. Since I tend to travel up to 200 miles a day for work, I like to use my bike to save on fuel. The attachment system was a breeze, and the buckles hold securely even when I’m going down the highway. There’s also a convenient shoulder strap to carry the bag when you dismount it, making transitioning from riding to work a breeze. Overall, I would highly recommend this bag to anyone who needs a mid-size tail bag for commuting or as a start to a touring kit. It even comes with a rain cover that holds securely over the bag in rough weather. Kuryakyn has done an amazing job redesigning their line, and of the Kuryakyn products, only the XKursion series is better built than the Momentum line.
