The unit I bought was a replacement for my Daughters home and was identical. It is the 1F89-211 thermostat. I had no issues and it has been in service for about two years. **Q: thank you for your help ! i change my honeywell to this new one. i get 6 wires red yellow green blue orange white. how do i connect the 6 wires to ?** A: Ok so, I have in front of me a cross reference terminal chart. That has different makes of t-stat. I don't know of a way to get ahold of u only through Amazon, last time i gave my email in a mesg like this they didn't send it. Try sending yours so i can email you a pic of this cross reference chart. It is real easy with this it does color for color wire configuration along with different makes to the t-stat which u are tryn to install. **Q: Does the light stay on all the time?** A: Vicki, have had this thermostat since 2015. The light DOES remain on but it is not bright like you would find in a lamp. Mine is located in a fairly dark hallway and I can easily read the numbers w/o eye strain.
