Ready to use, no mixing. Does not shrink or crack with age. Suitable for use from below freezing point to above boiling point of water. Completely safe to use with drinking water. It seems like a silicone type of sealant but stays somewhat soft. Even after opening the tube the contents remain usable for long after a year. I’ve used it on connections such as the wall to toilet tank line, under-sink plastic pipes, and clear plastic/vinyl tubing for a reverse osmosis system. A pre-application to these fittings prior to normal tightening has resulted in 100% leak proof joints. I highly recommend the product. The wait to obtain the product from the UK and the price may seem like an obstacle but the first time you use it you will understand. I have purchased it twice for two different locations.
