Can you bend 3/8" steel rod into a large circle

Copper pipe.....to what size.....has anyone use it on copper pipe?

Would not recommend using on copper pipe.

Can this bender be use to bend 1/2” rebar or I need to buy the 1/2” version of this tool?

This is a 5/8" indexing rebar bender with 5/8" being the capacity.

In terms of leverage, is this practical to make lots of bends in 1/2" rebar - something that could be used all day, or only make a few bends?

I used it to bend a lot of 1/2" rebar and had no problem.Slide out the tool as far as it will go and you get good leverage.1/2" still takes muscle though, so keep cool and call it exercise.The tool is a solid product!

Well made, effective.

Had a cellar's worth of fairly complex rebar bending to do and was a little hesitant to buy. This small, extendable tool let me bend up c. 200 pieces in a few hours. It's not perfectly accurate because it's a stand alone bar, but you can get good results. It feels really strong in the body, and the adjustable head is really good and well made.
