I purchased Amazon Basic High Capacity Rechargeable Batteries to use with the lights. Despite the Amazon Batteries supposedly being pre-charged, I found that it took almost 3 hours in a charger to bring them to full charge. I found that neither of the light sets would work, remaining completely inoperative. I then tried normal AA Alkaline batteries (Panasonic) and both sets of lights worked perfectly. For some reason, they do not seem to like rechargeable batteries, at least no Amazon Basic ones. The only other comment I would make is that the remote controls are a bit on the fiddly side although they work well enough.

Good value for money and good sets of lights (two). I wrapped both of the lights around my Christmas tree and to be honest I did need to use both in order to provide sufficient brightness. I initially tried it with one set of lights and it provided a low glow but once I wrapped the second one on, it brightened up a lot as there were also some overlapping. There are different flash functions and you can control it using the remote control. Both sets require AA batteries so in order to preserve the batteries, I only turn it on when required. So far so good and it makes my real Christmas tree look even more cute. Once Christmas is over, I will find a different function for them. Possibly will put them in my bedroom along my dressing table. These lights are definitely versatile and value for money.

Whilst at first glance they may look flimsy these lights and their wiring are robust and seem to stand up to all winds and weathers. The 9 different light sequence programs, all operated by the supplied remote control means you can easily add very variation to your display. The control/battery box is waterproof and has a timer function (6hrs on 18hrs off) so you can switch them on with the remote, press the timer button and then leave them to come on and go off each day. Unfortunately the timer function on one the sets is faulty so they stay on longer then 6hrs, hence only 4 stars.

I bought this product to use it in home decoration for Christmas and Halloween. Having two separate remote controls are very important for me. Because I used lights in different rooms. The battery life is way above my expectation and this made me very happy. Changing the brightness of the lights with the remote control is especially great for halloween decoration. I used the lights on the stairs and it created a very nice ambiance at night. It can be used in the garden in summer. I definitely recommend this product in terms of price and performance for those who want to buy this type of light.

These lights are absolutely beautiful and create such a relaxing and comforting scenery. They have transformed my bedroom into a lovely cosy room. I'm shocked that this one purchase has manage to cover my entire wall and ceiling! I'll definitely be purchasing again. Also comes with a remote which is so handy if your lazy like me and I don't want to get up to switch them off!!

I purchased these last year, and was pleased with their brightness etc. So I purchased more sets to place in other windows this year. However only 1 set out of four briefly worked, the others entirely dead - even when tried with the same batteries that lit identical sets. One of last year's sets has also now failed this year after briefly working. Have returned all this year's purchases. They are just so cheaply made it seems tricky to get the batteries to make a reasonable connection - no amount of trying different batteries and twiddling around with them worked. Just a waste of time, worth investing a bit more in a more robust set that may have better quality control in production and may have been properly tested before shipping to you.

I ordered warm white and received a garish blue white. The item also states silver wire but it’s copper wire which I much prefer. Please can the seller let me know if I can order warm white. Blue white is not my choice although these lights work well they are far too bright. Remote con trol is great and really good price

Brought these to put up in my campervan , and to use on the outside awning, nice and long & bright , then noticed the remote controls , think these will work a dream . Looking forward to putting them up once the camper is finished inside .

Por ese precio y la calidad , no se puede pedir más. Se puede ajustar hasta la intensidad del brillo de las luces, lo cual aconsejo para que duren mucho más las pilas. Para mi lo más importante es la funcion timer. Enciende la guirnalda a la hora que quieras que esten encendidas y luego en el remoto aprietas timer, y entonces desde ese y momento y durante 6 horas más las luces permaneceran encendidas. Pasadas las 6 horas se apagan solas , y el dia siguiente justo a la hora que apretaste el boton de timer se volveran a encender. Cuando se cambian las pilas, es aconsejable repetir el proceso.
