Well worth the price to have on hand for emergency use.
I purchased this item after much research into the ingredients it contains. This item is one of only a few that included all of the recommended elements for treating the wide variety of ailments I wanted to be prepared for without having to secure a prescription before hand which invariably means that there is already a pre-existing illness. I wanted this for situations when there might not be someone available to write a prescription. I have had to use it for infection situations and it worked very well. It is very straightforward to dose and administer for any size patient.

Safe does the job
Been using it for resp infections for my sickly cat and it works great every time. Purchased it numerous times in past couple years because I don't want to ever run out. It's not a cure all but it handles alot of issues. Uf this doesnt take care of reg sinus infections or colds within week or cat starts to become lethargic trouble breathing then the cat needs more than this so get your pet to hospital. All in all its great for most cat aliments

CLEARED DOG UTI IN DAYS!!!!!
When I ordered this natural antibiotic I was hoping that it would work to clear up my dog's UTI quickly; not having ever tried anything like this before, I was skeptical. I am happy to report that this natural antibiotic ACTUALLY WORKED! This is the first time my dog has ever had a UTI, and I really didn't want to take him to the vet and put him on antibiotics. I'm not against antibiotics but I think they are overprescribed and I also believe they disrupt the guts natural biome. That's one of the main reasons I wanted to try something that is natural, that was made using ingredients found in nature. Since my dog had never had a UTI before I was alarmed when I saw this thick greenish goo coming out of his pee pee! I quickly realized that meant there was an infection present somewhere in his urinary tract. I did a quick search on Amazon and I found this wonderful product that has completely cleared his UTI in a matter of days. The instructions are easy to follow, as they are on the bottle, and the dropper is marked with the different ml's that are needed per your dog's body weight. I administer the dosage directly into by dogs mouth and he doesn't seem to mind the taste at all. The product details say that you can give this once or twice a day. I decided to administer the med's twice a day, once in the morning and then later in the evening. As of this posting, this is day 5 of his treatment, I am going to do one more day just to make sure that the infection is completely cleared from his system. A normal coarse of antibiotics is usually 3-5 days if the infection is mild, or 7-10 for more sever infections. I did't realize it, but his activity level had gone down, he was more sleepy and didn't want to play with his toys, but now that the infection has cleared up he's back to his old self. This product has really been a blessing to me and my big boy. I hope more people start using natural products to treat their fur babies instead of using the medicines brought to us by the pharmaceutical industry which often times come with horrible side effects.

I'm happy with my purchase...
My dog was suddenly vomiting, had diarrhea and stopped eating. I was hours away from making a trip to the ER. I decided to do a little research and stumbled upon this antibiotic. I was a little skeptical but figured worst case scenario it wouldn't do anything for my pup and we'd still be heading to the vet. An hr after his first dose I noticed him improving! First a tail wag, something I hadn't seen in 2 days. Then he perked his ears, again hadn't seen for 2 days. And then he ran to the door and barked with his sister at the delivery driver! After a few hours I noticed he didn't seem to be feeling too good again. About 12 hrs after his first dose I have him a 2nd. Same things again. This morning I woke to find him almost back to his normal self. He even had some appetite return, he ate the blend of chicken, rice, blueberry, carrots and pumpkin I made for him. My dog is very food motivated and for 2 days turned down everything but water I don't know if whatever he had passed on its own, if it was a combination of anything or a fluke but what I do know is I gave my baby this supplement and within an hour after his first dose I saw significant improvement! I SAVED THOUSANDS BY NOT GOING TO THE ER. And GARLIC IS SAFE FOR CONSUMPTION IN SMALL DOSES, ITS HEALTH PROPERTIES ARE ASTOUNDING. Some of these reviews are quoting facts about ingredients that pertain to humans, not animals. I SAW A DIFFERENCE after 1 dose, what do you have to lose but a few bucks? Im pretty sure the bottle clearly states not for human consumption so I won't taste it and it smells like black licorice to me so I'm not fond of the smell, but my dog has eaten poop so I don't think that bothers him!

Just started giving my two cats this
So far these are my impressions: something really needs to be done to the taste of this 'natural antibiotic' for cats... my larger cat (15#) won't let me give him more than 1/2 a dropper full at a sitting (the dropper only pulls up .5ml at a time... regardless of how you try to suck it up) as he's too busy foaming at the mouth, probably due to the taste of echinacea among other tastes. I do try and follow it up with a syringe of water to help him rid himself of the taste. My smaller cat (10#) hates the taste too but at least doesn't react as badly. As getting the 'antibiotic' in their mouths is 90% of the goal, having something with at least a palatable taste would definitely make for an easier time. I have tried to put a couple of drops in their canned food, but that also didn't go over well as they then refused to eat it. The reason I am administering this product in the first place is that the larger cat has been sneezing a lot this year and now my smaller cat has begun sneezing a bit too. The last time I gave him antibiotics for it, it was a very messy ordeal down the back of his legs. He, like most cats, isn't the type you can just give a bath too to clean is very long fur and isn't fond of me clipping his fur either. So far, after two and a half days of taking the GoldenPaw (.5ml x2) my larger cat is still sneezing... so we will give it a couple more days and I will update. Cats tend to be a little more discerning about what they eat than dogs, so the taste probably won't bother a dog as much. Oh and one last thing that I didn't like... according to the dosing my 15# cat is supposed to take more than 2x the amount that my just under 10# is supposed to take. Seriously in what world does that make sense? ? They need to do a little more calculating on the dosing side because there's a huge difference between a 10# animal and a 35# animal and yet the dosage is the same.

Safe, effective
My pets dont hate the taste and they clearly enjoy the results of this medicine; when i tell them "medicine" they are not fighting me, at all, to recieve it.

Buyer beware!!!
The (active) ingredient list for this product (Paw Dog Antibiotics for Infection, Coughs, UTI"s, Itching, etc., etc. 2 oz) reads as follows: Pau D'Arco, Olive Leaf, Thyme, Oregano, Clove, Cranberry, Echinacea, Wormwood, Eleutherococcus, Garlic in 2 different places in the description. Then again further down under "important Information". When you ask "Rufus" about the inactive ingredients of the above product the AI states "The product information does not specify any inactive ingredients." However when you receive the item and look at the label it states under "other ingredients" the preservatives Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate!!! Sodium Benzoate: This food chemical has been linked to a variety of health harms, including damage to DNA, hormone disruption and reduced fertility. Sodium benzoate also poses a cancer risk, but only if combined with the use of ascorbic acid, citric acid or vitamin C as a preservative. Potassium Sorbate: A 2002 study published in “Toxicity in Vitro” sites that when human blood cells were exposed to potassium sorbate they underwent mutation and damage to DNA. This causes for concern for this damage to develop into dysplasia and eventual higher malignancy risk. Potassium sorbate can cause allergic reaction externally and internally. Potassium sorbate has been linked to migraines and is some cases can cause an elevation of potassium in the blood stream. You do not want this in your food, supplements, cosmetics, creams, lotions, etc., nor do you want it in your dog's/cat's (or any other pet) food, supplements, grooming products, etc.!!! The choice is yours. Choose wisely.
