The first one was Amazon basics and it was as pretty basic but I ordered dark grey and it made my room too dark. I then ordered a much more expensive one that is white with geometric patterns and it looked great but wasn’t as soft and I as too big for the bed and so had a lot of extra fabric.Then I ordered this duvet cover in basic white and it is better than the one costing 5 times as much. It is soft and form fitting and I haven’t even washed it yet. A great duvet cover for the price and out performs much more expensive ones. They are so affordable. The fit is perfect and it feels more expensive than it is. This particular product is a tiny bit thicker than a sheet but it's very durable and doesn't pill like other brands do. The zipper on the duvet works great and doesn't feel cheap. The pillow cases have a nice thick trim around them and the fold pocket in back works great without exposing your pillow. I purchased the item based on the fact that it seems there were more positive ratings than there weren’t. And sadly, it seems unless being compensated by a positive review, you’ll have an easier time finding a negative one. People just don’t take the time to write a solid review on a good product. I believe for the price, this is a good duvet. I wanted to share that information with another possible buyer. I could assume it’s customer error of size and measurements that perhaps people negatively reviewed it because the quality of the duvet seems to be high. It feels like linen, and as long as you’re following cleaning directions as advised, you shouldn’t have a problem. I prefer the zipper closures versus the tie closures for a duvet.
