filter had an oil stain on its extremity!
Filter was oil stained on its extremity. package was opened and taped with an oil stain. seems the oil went though the package and reached the filter!

Perfect fit for my 2011 Grand Cherokee Pentastar 3.6L. I was a bit nervous as Amazon displayed it was shipping from a vendor other than Mopar but it turned out to be the exact OEM part I was looking for without having to leave my house to visit the dealer. I can tell you that it does come with a replacement o-ring as well. These are the only filters I will use in my Jeep due to the oil filter housing having a tendency to disagree with aftermarket options.
