Frontier Co-op Organic Parsley Leaf Flakes, 1 Pound Bulk Bag

We've been buying this product for about three years now. Quality has always been excellent. Packaging always superb. And my wife, being the excellent Mediterranean-diet cook that she is .. makes heavy use of it. We use this well-priced product to refill the professional, kitchen-style plastic bin. Just good stuff.

The Parsley I bought previously was unavailable, so I thought I’d give this one a try. I’m glad I did, because I’m happy with it – the color is good, it definitely smells like a good dried Parsley should, it tastes good and it seems fresh. I like that it is organic and for a 16 oz bag, the price is good. Since Parsley weighs very light, a 16 oz bag is very large and will last a long time, so even though the expiry date on my bag is a good 20 months from when I received it, it encourages me to use it in more things, which is good. I do grow Parsley in my garden, but there are plenty of dishes where using dried Parsley works better, so it’s always good to have this in the pantry.

It is well known that dry herbs last "a life time". How can you go wrong with organic parsley, that you can add to many dishes, from stews to soups, not to mention the healthy benefits. Also, buying in bulk, saves you money in a long run, versus buying small quantities. The more you buy, the more you save and this applies to bulk purchasing :) Best for preserving the flavor for a long time, is to vacuum seal it in a glass jar and keep it in a cool dark place.

This stuff is fresher than the small bottles of this brand in store. Oh yeah. One big pinch every meal, too much causes indigestion from akalining effect. (Medical medium shares, partly) Then drink this as a tea for more brain fuel, mainly.
