Got this for my dog because they smelt like Fritos. I was told it was yeast. The product eliminated the yeast and made the skin clear up. Very expensive but worth every penny

(From the mrs.) I have a walkerhound, about 60 to 65lbs. And for the past 2 months, he has been biting the tip of his tail, neat his but. So much that there was blood over it. I always just thought it was anxiety stress from the other dogs, etc...never the less, he's still biting...all day, everyday, 24/7 day!! I felt so bad for him. The closest vet near us, wasn't taking any new dogs till, sept!! I was desperate. And I was very skeptical, I read every single, good, and bad reviews. I did my homework. I was expecting it to be kinda like our shampoo, kinda water based. But it was thick like our conditioner. It wasn't a disgusting smell, just a different, pungent smell. Like when you stub your toe, lol. I'm a rebel, I didn't use gloves & my hands DID NOT fall off!!! I was also worried if it would sting the area where he's been biting raw & the fur has been coming off. It did not! Whew!! He had the roughest fur. Can't tell you how many times I've gotten jabbed in the fingernail by his fur! Now, it's, so soft! And his coat is actually shiny! In other words....EXCELLENT STUFF, BUY IT! YOULL BE GLAD YOU DID!! We’ve spent $$$ on our dog at vet for chronic skin issues. He’s a 13 year old lab/pointer mix. We’ve treated for ringworm multiple times (& switched meds bc one didn’t work & he had allergic reaction to another), seborrheic dermatitis, & allergies. We give him omega-3 fish oil daily, Benadryl multiple times per day, wash him in different oatmeal & sensitive skin washes over time when condition didn’t improve. We changed diet as directed. We stayed on top of heartworm & flea & tick & chewing lice medications to cover parasitic possibilities. He continued with patches of hair loss, snotty looking skin under his hair, patches of bloody sores, excessive skin flakes. We quit taking him to groomers bc we didn’t know what he actually had or if he was getting reinfected. We started using this product & he’s finally making improvements. We bathed & brushed on different days at first to not agitate skin. Now we brush then bathe same day. Multiple bathes/week at first. His coat is softer & shinier & the flakes are minimal. We combined this with the Veterinary Formula hot spot spray & his sore spots are decreasing in number. We used the Bodhi scrub brushes from Amazon to work the shampoo into his skin & keep him calm for 10 minutes while it treats his skin.

Just switched to this because the shampoo I was getting my dog was so expensive and wasn’t as big as this container. It is scent free but not a huge fan of the smell, that’s why I gave 4 stars however my dog does not like very scented shampoos. Great for the price, and does a great job cleaning. Do wish there was a pump with it. Highly recommend.
