This is excellent for sun protection. I wished I had known about this earlier. I live in an area with strong uv exposure in the summer, and I always wear sunscreen and a wide brim hat when outdoors, but the protection was still not ideal. I found this especially useful when I need to do long drives and can't avoid sun exposure.

Excellent! I use it when driving to avoid getting dark around my mouth/chin area. It loops around the back of the ears as well as having a velcro closing in the back to fit securely across the back of the head. Zero sun penetrates the polyester type of material and is great for sun avoiders. The mouth opening is convenient for straw drinking and vaping.
