uniball™ Power Tank RT Ballpoint Pens, Medium Point (1.0mm), Black, 12 Pack

For years, I used various pens with Fisher refills because I needed to write upside down at work. Then I discovered the Uniball Power Tank pen and never looked back. The Power Tank does some things even better than Fisher. Importantly, the ink flows smoother with less skipping. Like fisher, it can write upside down indefinitely. It writes on wet paper better than Fisher but not as well through oil. It has a super comfortable, rubberized grip area and the convenience of push-button operation. The black plastic material is sturdy but lighter in weight than many more expensive pens. A possible disadvantage is that unlike Fisher, it comes in only one style; if you don't like it, you're out of luck. The crowning glory is that you can buy a dozen of these Power Tank pens for about $18.00 here on Amazon. That's less than a single copy of most pens which use the Fisher refill.

I was introduced to these pens several years ago when I first began geocaching because they were the only pen that could still write on a soggy log sheet. Soon after my first purchase I realized these pens are so much more than just being able to write on wet paper. They literally write in ANY angle, even upside down! Whether laying in bed journaling or writing in dates and information on a calendar hanging on the wall, these are the pens you want in your home. No more getting halfway through a thought and watching the ink fade out because it's running to the opposite end of your ink pen. The pressurized ink means it's always going in the right direction and doesn't stop until it's ALL gone. While I wish they came in more colors, I'm still happy with them and will use these for my everyday tasks as long as they continue to be available. I've had dozens of these pens over the years and they've never leaked, always worked, never smudged and last a long time.

Write everywhere in any conditions, waterproof, always work. I use these for concrete, wood, timber, metals, etc. I use these instead of pencils on wood. nice sharp line to saw to. I've used all of the supposed bulletproof space pens and military pens over the years. They all work, but not as well as these do. However, all of those expensive super pens do one thing in my bibs and shirt pockets... they eventually break or bend! The metal pens also loose their clip tension and fall out and get lost. Even though they are plastic, these uni powerballs do Not break and I've not lost one yet. They do run out of ink quickly when used on porous surfaces, but otherwise They Get The Job Done Reliably! A rare reasonably priced product in todays bizznizzmen manipulated world. I keep 36 on the shelf to make sure I have them before they get changed for the worse, or the bizznizzmen up the price. The only thing that could make these better is if they sold 40 cent ink refill cartridges.

Even though I prefer a particular brand of gel pen outside of work, I have to use a ballpoint pen at my workplace to use on different kinds of paper and material (gel ink smears on plastic and doesn't do well on white paper with any color on it). I read about these pens in a Reddit thread, and decided to splurge, and I'm glad I did. The ink is dark and flows smoothly on all surfaces. The clicker has a satisfying feel, and the overall style is professional and attractive. I don't need to write upside down or on wet surfaces very often, but it's nice to know that the pressurized ink cartridge can handle that as well. This is my new favorite ballpoint pen and I find myself using them outside of work too!

I like the quality of these pens, they don't stop working after a few months

These work as advertised-- they write with beautiful flowing ink, easily in all orientations and are permanent on many surfaces. They work as well when they are cold. It's just a fine writing implement If you need something that will write reliably in any environment!

I purchased these as they're able to write on wet paper and upside down. I have this with my field notes that uses waterproof paper as I find myself needing to jot down notes in all weather conditions, including in the rain. There are other pens on the market that offer the same features, but the uni-ball power tank is cheaper and, to be honest, much nicer to write with. I recommend this pen.

Scrivono sempre e in ogni condizione. E' il secondo pacco che compro non è mai capitato che perdano inchiostro. Le uso soprattutto per scrivere le parole crociate a letto quindi scrivono anche rivolte verso l'alto.
