Design Toscano Bigfoot the Holiday Yeti with Santa Hat Funny Christmas Tree Ornament

This looks amazing in our garden, it is maybe 60cm tall and we have a solar light underneath him pointing up so at night he fills a fence panel with his shadow. Very well made, very detailed and very heavy.... literally love it...would recommend.

I got this in the hope it would scare cats away from my garden pond. Too early to say whether that will work. In any case, it is an attractive garden ornament and looks just like the generally accepted appearance of a Bigfoot / Yeti. Not sure how stable it will be in high winds. It looks like it is possible to fill it with water or sand to stabilise it but unfortunately, mine arrived with a large crack from the top of the left shoulder all down the left side. The reason it arrived damaged is obvious: a bit more care needed to be taken with the packaging. The medium statue measures 32cm x 30.5cm x 53.5cm. It was shipped in a single cardboard box measuring 75cm x 56cm x 42cm with just a bit of paper to protect it from bumps on its journey. It had a lot of room to move about in that box which it clearly did and without double-boxing and bubble-wrap it was an accident waiting to happen. Not inclined to waste my time (and money) sending it back because it was supplied free in exchange for this review.

At around 53cms high (about 21 inches in old money) this 'Medium' incarnation is quite a large "garden ornament". My main concern is that he is a little unstable (I mean physically not emotionally...) as the weight distribution means that he can easily topple. I've therefore had to sink him slightly in the soil so that he is more stable. Edit. Sept '20. He's toppled loads of times when it's windy. His finish had scratched and today, as a result of his last fall, one of his arms broke off. It's his arms that are making him top heavy. His feet are big but evidently, they are not big enough. The design needs a rethink.

It's very well made and has great detail. I'm a bit of a bigfoot fan and think the artist made the bigfoot head a bit elongated more like a yeti skull than a bigfoot skull. Side note- the yeti version of this statue is the exact same statue just painted white. Wish they had made them differant.
