Great light. Have no problems. Saw in the reviews that some people had an algae bloom but want to make not that if this happens to you, you need more plants to eat the excess nitrogen in the water. Not totally the light’s problem. Also no problem with sturdiness. It’s been stable for my aquarium with no issues in rust. Appearance is fine, just a normal light. Great value for money.

I love this little light for the money. I only have a low tech tank so don’t need a crazy specialty light and this one has been doing great for my tank for 8 months now. I did end up buying a timer that I could plug this into to customize the amount of time the light was in so I could dial it in for my specific tank, but I’m very happy with it. I also bought risers as well because my sponge filter was splashing on it too much and with my hard water it was getting calcified (I don’t use a lid), but with those adjustments it’s perfect for my tank.

I purchased this light for my very first planted aquarium. I was very impressed with the quality of the light and the timer function is what I love the most. I set it with the 24 hour gradient lighting and never needed to mess with it again. The light cycled from sunrise to moonrise over time and it was really a very pretty way to view the tank. You can also manually change the colors of the lights to your liking (red, blue, green), mix and match the colors to create a "custom" light spectrum, and manually turn the light off and on. The light has adjustable "legs" and fit very well over my rimless tank. The cord is plenty long enough and sturdy. I highly recommend this light for anyone that wants to set it and forget it without needing to buy a separate timer for a natural lighting option.

I bought this because I changed my aquarium into a planted one, and boy, is it worth it. The light wasn't very expensive compared to most lights on this platform (it's $25.19 USD at the time), so I decided to buy it. I was surprised on how fast it arrived. When I opened it, there was almost no assembly. Just the lightboard and plug. After looking at the manual a bit, I plugged in and turned on the light. I was then able to change the brightness, color, and time of when the light turned on and off. I think the coolest feature is the 24/7 timer. Regular lighting timers (it also includes the function) just turn a light on and off like a switch. But the 24/7 timer actually simulates sunrise and nighttime by slowly turning on the lights with a slight orange haze, gradually increasing into a warm white. Then in the later hours, it lowers the light into a deep blue, then fades off (8 hours of darkness). The only thing that is a little inconvenient about this product is choosing when the timer goes on and off. By default, a whole day starts at 6:00 AM and ends at 10:30 PM (I think). Now, I have guppies, and they don't really like having light after 9 PM. I did some math, and I figured that if I set the time 2 hours and 30 minutes before, then the light will turn on at around 4-5 AM and turn off at around 9 PM. A bit tedious, but once it is set up, it should be good for a while. If you made it through the whole read, I hope this helped!

I wasn't sure I'd keep this light--it's definitely not as bright as more expensive options like the Finnex--that I had before, but.....my freshwater plants seem to be thriving so far. It might be the spectrum balance or maybe it's just the right amount of light for a Nano aquarium that is 12x12x12." Two weeks after set-up, my rotala and diandra are both developing their red and copper colors, my dwarf hairgrass is spreading, and my dwarf baby tears is starting to carpet the foreground. I wouldn't recommend for a tank any larger than mine or deeper than 12" though. PS--operating the controls and timer is pretty much a no-brainer, not sure why others can't figure it out....

Very happy with the quality of this light. My second Hygger and it’s really a great light for my 5-gallon blue shrimp tank.

I have this on a 5 gallon tank. It's plenty bright, but may not provide enough hours of max brightness in 24 hour mode for plants that need a lot of light imo. Also, it resets during power interruptions so you have to have it on a battery backup.

Took a bit to figure out the timer but good product

When I received lights were good but has a fault that when I want on bright light it doesn’t stay on , I have to bang the plug and it will go on for few seconds but then off again …so obviously a faulty connection somewhere. Amazon won’t give contact details of seller for me to contact or refund , so guess I have to use on dull lights #annoying

Además de que tiene varias tonalidades lo que hace resaltar los colores de los peces y acuario y sus funcionalidades son lo mejor, hay un modo 24/7 que te ahorra la fatiga de estarla prendiendo o apagando manualmente. 100% recomendable.
