Transformers 2 Revenge of The Fallen Movie 2010 Series 2 Deluxe Action Figure Strike Mission Sideswipe

Sideswipe with some more cooler detail in a Strike Mission nest alliance version that rocks!This version differs from the original only in detail.For starters Sideswipe has a sweet looking red windshield/windows that gives the corvette stingray mode alot more character.He also has racing stripes along with a cool looking nest global alliance on the doors in corvette stingray mode as well.In robot mode Sideswipe red highlights in the legs with his trusted deploying blades on each arm.He still includes the Mech Alive shifting battle armor like the original for awesome battle action.Overall the detail in both modes is outstanding.The poseability is awesome as well with Sideswipe able to assume many poses for battle scenes or displaying where you want.The durability is excellent all around with Sideswipe being able to handle any situation that comes his way.The transformation works very well with everything fitting together very securely.The transformation level is intermediate meaning that if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty.If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help some in the process.Sideswipe can be a little challenging at first,but after some patience and practice most ages should be able to get the hang of it.Sideswipe is a very unique,cool transformer that will bring enjoyment for all transformer fans.Bottom line Strike Mission Sideswipe is a high quality,well-made,10 out of 10 transformer all fans and collectors will treasure.I highly recommend Sideswipe to all transformer fans and collectors alike.Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all too expensive for the material , it broke in the first day , my son couldn't even play with it for his birthday . I returned it because it is not even worth it to get a replacement for the money . Very disappointing with how the transformers toys are being made this days. I have being buying them since my son was 5 and he is 17 now . Even he was surprise on how weak the material was

I am writing this review to note the discrepancy between the first issue RotF Sideswipe pictured here and the newer second run model that should arrive. First the basics - the new issue version of Sideswipe appears to be functionally identical to the earlier version. And both toys are great transformer. The robot is well detailed and stable while the vehicle fits together nicely. The transformation is very nice as well save for the initial moves going from car to robot. Those with mine were a little tricky IMHO but nothing that skilled hands couldn't overcome. Now to the major difference - this version, "Strike Mission", has red plastic for the windshield and other glass pieces rather than the original blue. Personally I prefer the blue but as I received this as a gift recently, I am more happy to just have the figure. Also, there are other minor color differences but really it is the glass color change that is most apparent. Lastly, this "toy", though easier to transform than the Bumblebee model, is still bordering on the acceptable for the listed age range. Durability and difficulty in transforming are questions for younger users to consider (or for parents/others debating this as a gift). All in all though, a great Transformer for the right buyer. Edit: It looks like Amazon finally got around to updating the picture. The red plastic in the new picture is indeed the color of the windshield.
