worked well for my needs
this worked very well for running a network cable through a wall from my front door into my garage. One suggestion is to get a string an tie it to the end of the fish tape, then tie the string onto the cable your pulling with half-hitch loops (taping the last half-hitch with duct tape ... works kind of like those finger torture thing you played with as a kid), it tightens around the cable as your pulling it.
