So, the box was a little damaged/had a couple holes, but the roto toms were in perfect shape. I set them up right away and played with the tuning. I am very impressed. they sound amazing, and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to add some sound to their kit. The absolute only problem is have so far it the piece that the rack slides into is plastic.

This is one of those items that the price point is a big factor. The stand is adequate but not the same quality as the Remo it emulates, the moving parts will require some type of lubrication before use as others have said, and the post holes in the static portion of the pitch adjusting system were not uniform. That being said, it cost me 0 dollars extra to drill the holes to equal depths and lubricate the moving parts. The heads that came with the set were garbage, and that was expected, I swapped them for a set of Remo Pinstripes and they sound every bit as good as the Remo brand Roto Toms I had back in the 80's. Still love the changing tones on the fly concept just as much as I did way back then. Worth every penny at this price, even if purely for the nostalgia.

I'm adding this to my double kit, it was really easy to setup and use. It's built really well and feels durable, Like the higher cost companies. I'm using these for playing In a metal band, I'd say I'd you don't like the heads that come with it, then just replace them it's no big deal. For the price, I'd say it's really good for anyone wanting to add something new to their drums

I just set them up and tuned them to be the top three in a chain of twelve toms. Even the skins seem to be fairly high quality for single ply. I am impressed so far, I can't yet speak about their durability but the hardware seems to be on the same level as Pearl or Yamaha. Time will tell, but they were easy to tune. They have five standard tuning bolts, same as on a snair or Tom. I think I'm really gonna love these as my latest addition. I'm eventually going to put hydraulic skins on them but there doesn't seem to be any rush.
