It's easy to apply, dries quickly, and looks great!
The shellac is FANTASTIC and works perfectly! *FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS* regarding applying it. Just spray a LIGHT coat with even passes and be about 12-15 inches away. I used it on a Vietnamese straw hat to make it water resistant and protect the straw. The shellac DOES dry in minutes and then you can apply another coat--just repeat the coats(2-3 should easily do the job). Remember, water is enemy #1 to a straw hat and you can use this spray on practically any straw. ENJOY!

Great for wood projects! makes wood pieces shine and brings out the natural color of high and low lights in the wood. very versital product that works great for all projects

Expiration date is very important!
Check the expiration date on your cans! I received multiple cans that were 4+ months old, and they ended up spraying out "clumps" of laquer and/or drying to a hazy finish. Thankfully I was able to find newer cans (2 months old) from another retailer and sand down the bad lacquer and fix my project, but these cans ended up being wasted--and would've ruined my project if I hadn't been able to get newer cans of lacquer.

Easy to use and quick drying
I bought this to coat a piklers triangle that I'd made for my daughter and needed a little extra coating on the surface. It was so easy to use and quick drying, the 3 coats were done in an afternoon and she was climbing all over it by early evening!
