Seagate IronWolf Pro, NAS internal Hard Drive 16 TB HDD, 3.5 Inch, 7200 U/Min, CMR, 256 MB Cache, SATA 6 Gb/s, ST16000NE000

Bought 5 , 3 not working at all, 2 not recognised by the server, very frustrating and a huge let down

Product came late with not well safe box and not working at all and also i sent back and for one month I didn’t get any feedback for my refund they most probably thieves!!

I took five of them. Unfortunately one is making strange noise time to time. Looking for the warranty in my country. Nevertheless all five works. For home using are noisy. Under hi load very noisy. But for server is good.

Don't buy - Its an old hard drive - re certified. Not NEW

i bought the new Seagate Ironworlf Pro ST18000NTZ01. Not only Impressive specs onpaper but in real too. Zero vibration and fast. Will see how durability goes in the future andi will update my review if needed. Very happy so far

Like all hdd’s, advertised & usable space aren’t the same. So you’ll get 20tb of actual space

Un beau disque de 14 To pour Nas, performant en 7200 tr/mn, et normalement silencieuxJe dis normalement, car suite à un colis mal préparé par le vendeur, pas assez de protections et qui ont été en plus défaillante, le disque les ayant explosées, le disque est arrivé avec 2 grosses bosses sur le Capot, et un bruit de tête à l'intérieur lorsque l'on déplace le disque.Je voudrais signaler le sérieux du vendeur Montcalm et d'Amazon, qui m'ont remboursé rapidement le produitUne avarie de transport cela peut arriverMalheureusement le vendeur est à stock zero sur ce produitJe vais attendre afin de pouvoir lui repasser une commande pour son professionnalismeMais autrement se sont de super disques pour des NAS, j'en suis normalement très content, c'était mon quatrièmeOn dit jamais 3 sans 4 ... donc on va patienter un peuMais vendeur sérieux et de confianceDepuis mon message précédent, j'ai racheté le même en 8To, car les autres pas disponibleArrivé super emballé dans du plastibulles - Parfait - Il tourne dans le NAS

These drives arrived a lot quicker than I was expecting which was a welcome change from most retailers, so thanks for that. They have a good reputation but you don't know until your had them for a while, which I haven't. As far as the sound from the two drives, it's not that bad but I do have a dehumidifier in the room as well which is far loader, but you should expect some noise as that's how they work, spinning drives will do that. I have installed them in the new TerraMaster F4-242, which I'm still trying to get my head around but it will take some time, for me to get the benefit of them.
