A bit extra but it’s quite good and prep is a snap. I am ordering a couple for my emergency food stash.

Everything in this box is overcooked. The sliced carrots are mush. The salmon is covered with overcooked rice and has no flavor. I have purchased other shelf-stable products; the stuffed cabbage is excellent, but this is a waste of money. I may throw out the other two that came in the bundle.

Keeps well on the shelf. Unlike the picture, salmon, rice and a mashed carrot sauce are mixed (resembles the Live Ocean Salmon Risotto also available from Amazon). This dish costs more, but you get 12 oz versus 10, and you may prefer the spicier taste of this one. I suggest cutting all around the inside and removing the plastic, covering with a paper plate instead—otherwise you'll have hot splatter when you try to peel it. The manufacturer says to heat on "medium." I interpreted this as 50% power, which worked fine.

Great flavor not a lot in this package for a grown up. I didn’t even know that I was eating salmon rice and carrots because the carrots were very minimal.

This is by far my least favorite in this series of meals that I've tried so far. For comparison, I haven't had any other ones that I've straight-up "disliked" prior to this one, and my favorite so far is called "Beef Rib Steak & Kugel". The bad part of this meal starts with the heating instructions, which don't warm the meal throughout. The Rice may have un-bricked itself had it warmed completely. The fish was full of bones that crumble with chewing, which is unpleasant, but more nutritious. The carrots were little more than orange slime, and the fish meat was about as firm as the de-moistened beef roast in the "beef rib steak & kugel" meal, but it had a strong fish odor. I gave it 2 stars simply because I did end up picking through the meal to find the parts that were less unappetizing before giving the rest to my dog, but I was overwhelmed with an urgency to make sure I do not have this on my Subscribe and Save list. For the amount that I did eat, it was reasonably filling, but I will remember to prepare a couple side dishes for the other two that came in the order.

Put in dark location that stays below 74 degrees, should last for 10 years. It tastes to good to wait 10 years.

If you don't have time to cook, it's the perfect solution, especially if you keep kosher! This brand have the best fish This meal and all there meals are very good. I love it me and my family. AAA!
