It is powering 3 12" Kicker L7's at 1.39 ohms. I already had 1/0 ofc power wire with 2 battery's in a 2007 suburban. To date this is the loudest system I have ever had. Every person that I had sit in the vehicle could not believe how load it was. So a really great amp. The con is going to be the remote bass knob. This knob is very cheap. Mine was completely destroyed with the knob coming out of the housing. The bass knob was replaced by seller through desertcart and received it very promptly. The amp before this was a 1500 watt Kicker and had zero bass noise when volume off. If your going to use a bass knob buy one while your ordering this amp. would definetaly purchase this amp again. It will push your sub woofers to close to the recommended power of around 800 W per sub. My Orion 1500 has a birth sheet of 1647 watts. I am a believer of not over supplying subs with unneeded wattage. It’s really going to come down to the box. But this amp will be able to drive home a lot of power to those subs. I have a ZV5 sundown 12 wired to 1 ohms. It is rated at 2000 W and this amplifier shakes my damn truck to pieces. I definitely wouldn’t go any higher with The 2500 amplifier in the EXTR serious. That would be just way too much. **Q: I see one review mentioned overheating, has anyone else experienced any overheating issues?** A: Yes mine does ( it’s in the trunk) putting out pure power so expect it to. Get a $30 cooling fan and sit it alil back from the amp to create cooling but if u put the fan right up on the amp it does not create cooling. This amp puts out way more than 1500 Watts . Everyone has a different birth sheet so mine put out 1725 Watts so it’s a solid good price amp don’t think twice and oh it’s 12v rated so if u do not have altinator ur getting pure power with this as opposed to getting 1500 watts at 14v and when bass hits your colts drop so does your wattage **Q: Will this amp power 3 12 orion** A: Which Orion's. Orion xtr is the best bang for the buck hands down!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by L***. on 30 May 2020* Killed my 1000 watt 10 yr old Niche sub. Lol. I have a sundown U2-D4 1500Rms coming in today. Waiting to put that in. Make sure the REM output is more than adequate when wiring this. I was using 5 vlts and was running hot and cutting on and off before i replaced it. Works fine now til i blew my old sub. Make sure to turn down gain/bass lv before power. Highly recommended. More than enough power for a single sub aplication or dual lower rms subs. Update: i had this for about 10 months now and its still working outstanding. Original subs are the sundown u2 d4 and replaced it with the d2 so i can wire at 1omhs. What a difference!! I thought it was loud before but its just rediculous now. Not even turn half way up and my car just shakes when the booms hits. Make sure to replace battery and use 0 gage on your wiring.
