Good value bags
Nice thick plastic. Robust seal. Works great with vacuum pump.

They Have Their Uses
I would not have bought these vacuum bags if I didn't already have a suitable small rechargeable pump. It does seem to take a few seconds for the pump to change tone and start vacuuming. I'm having very good results with freezing cooked rice; I prefer to flatten out the rice as much as possible, making a frozen "sheet" of rice really easy to snap into four pieces for more even microwaving. "Freezer burn" has been greatly reduced. I'm willing to bet that the open bag of frozen chicken breasts I vacuumed sealed in one of these will have almost no frost on the chicken; if I'm wrong about that, I'll come back and edit my review. Cleaning and drying them is a bit of a pain. I'm currently weighing up if I want more glass storage tubs with vacuum lids (for the ease of use) versus carrying on with the bags (more flexible freezer filling and cheaper). Not suitable for powders that are just loose in the bag. You do want an electric pump.

Practical
Very easy to use and come in practical sizes. Seals work well trick opening them once sealed but once you find a way it's gets easier. Good quality for money.

Great for 3d printing filament
I bought these bags to store smaller rolls of 3d printing filament as they are cheaper and fit the smaller rolls. I already had a vacuum pump so only needed the bags. UPDATE. have downgraded review as a few of the bags just wouldn't vacuum. No holes on bag so assume the valves must be faulty

Washable
I've used these bags for some time and they are really useful and inexpensive as you can wash and reuse them

They just don’t work.
I ordered these a little while ago to use with my VacBird and had an opportunity to try them yesterday. I am SO disappointed, it was a struggle to get any one of them to start the seal going and out of 15 bags, NOT ONE remained sealed. The picture was taken a few seconds after all of the air was ‘sucked’ out. I then watched it refill immediately. They went straight in the bin! I won’t be buying again. They seem sturdy enough but that doesn’t help much when they don’t work!

Strong bags, keeps airtight seal
These were the cheapest vacuum seal food bags I found on amazon, but dont let that put you off, they are as good as the more expensive options, they are easy to use and do keep the airtight seal well. So easy, just full the bag with the food you want to save up to the fill line, close the bag, making sure you seal the zip lock using the little white clip to press down and slide from side to side, keep the valve flat on a flat surface while you press your suction device over the valve and start pumping out air, you will notice the bag flattening and tightening around the food inside quite quickly, I use an electric pump so this only takes a few seconds. I have stored food in the fridge, but they seem to be sturdy enough to put into the freezer too. I have kept left over sunday roast in the fridge for about a week with no problems, they stay sealed until you open the zip lock opening at the top. They are a bit fiddly to wash and dry for re-using, but that is not a problem for me.

Very poor product. Mine wouldn't deflate at all. I sure if a specially designed pump is needed but I tried several different pumps and the bags didn't deflate at all rendering them useless
