Saltverk Sea Salt - Arctic Thyme 2.82 Oz

My Daughter bought me a jar of this when she passed through Iceland and I loved it enough to look for it here and buy another as I was running low. It works really well as a last moment addition to almost anything (eggs, asparagus, pork) giving it a nice small crunch pop of salty herb flavor.

5 stars because this salt is amazing, I bought some while visiting Iceland. Ordered this because I ran out, but they sent me the wrong one, even though the sticker labeled it as arctic thyme. Couldn't return, but got a refund and reordered. Hopefully next one is correct- it's amazing on my morning eggs! Update: 2nd order was also incorrectly stickered.. I guess the good news is I can still keep them even if the bad news is I don't have the one I'd prefer. Will order direct from their site I guess

Love this salt, great flavor!

When I first saw this stuff I knew I had to get it for the Christmas prime rib that I make every year, in my wildest imaginings I didn't think that it would be as good as it actually ending up being. In my 15 or so years making the Christmas prime rib knocking it out of the park to rave review every single time it's never been even half as good as the level it was elevated to this year by this majestic concoction. The flavors are just something well and truly special and if this is the sort of thing you're looking for then don't you dare look any further, you've found the best of the very best right here. It was like someone had cast a flavor spell on the meal this year and neither the friends nor the family could stop themselves from going back for seconds, going back for thirds, it was just that good. Personally every single bite I took I found myself letting out an involuntary very loud very colorful word that I wouldn't normally use in polite company, it just couldn't be avoided with the miracle happening in my mouth. I could go on and on about this stuff but I'm currently working, I just had to come by while the memory was fresh in my mind and the tears of joy were still drying on my cheeks to share with anyone that is considering trying this product that you need to stop considering right now and start buying as much as you can because after you pair this with proper cooking skills you're going to reach culinary levels that you didn't previously think you were capable of. The best way I can put it is that even if this bottle was $100 I would no question at all buy it again for next year's Christmas prime rib. Since it's instead far cheaper, I can't wait to try it in many different recipes going forward into 2020, f&@# am I excited about it.

This is a wonderful salt & herbs. Have purchased several jars. I know it is a smaller jar, but it is a finishing salt & you don’t need much to sprinkle on. I use it so much. I have many salts, but this one is lovely. Will buy again when low in the last jar.

This salt is absolutely delicious. It packs a flavorful punch and goes with anything, from meats and seafood to veggies and soups. I only deducted a star because if you’re too heavy-handed with this salt, it can lead to KILLER migraine headaches the following day or two. It’s happened to both me and my husband, so be careful. In small quantities, this salt is fantastic.

One of the more delicious salts I have tasted. The smell is wonderfully herby and it tastes Devine. I often use it as a finishing salt and it works quite well for that.

Love the flavor

It has a much stronger floral scent then I was expecting from Thyme salt, so I was a little concerned because I don’t love floral flavours. The salt crystals are huge, so I was also concerned it would be overpoweringly salty. However once I actually put it on food, those huge flakey crystals dissolved, and there’s just the wonderful taste of thyme and the proper amount of salt. Using this salt feels like a wonderful indulgence and I would encourage anyone considering it to try.

I do like this salt. Yeah I know a lot of people say it all tastes the same wherever it’s from but I’m into herbs for their health benefits and it’s just nice to try something different so even though it’s pricy I like it as a treat.
