Winco WCB-1218 Wooden Cutting Board, 12-Inch x 18-Inch x 1.75-Inch, Tan, 12 X 18

This board is thick, heavy, and flat. The wood is very hard, but it doesn't dull my knives. It comes with a lacquered finish, but for the price, it was worth my time to use an orbital sander to remove it. I got it on sale for $32.

Used for building a small table on my RV. It is very thick and sturdy. I find it easy to clean and love I can place my drink on it without it slipping off.

Heavy board

Great cutting board - would be nice if it had some rubber or soft feet - but we remedied that a couple of self-adhesive strips stuck to the bottom. Great quality - very heavy duty

This is one of the most beautiful cutting boards I've seen. So many cutting boards have ugly attachments or unnecessary decoration, cutouts, grooves, or branding. But this is a pure, clean design with practical cutouts for carrying. And it feels substantial. Bravo for the design. Unfortunately, because of the varnish, it does slide around quite a bit on my island. I wish it were available unvarnished. That would be perfect. I'm going to have to add rubber feet to stabilize it—which then means only one side will be usable. That's unfortunate. Finally, the first one I received had unacceptable flaws in the wood. I don't mean simply the grain; wood grain is beautiful. I mean unattractive flaws in the wood that were either patched with a darker color or the wood itself wasn't selected carefully enough. So, I ordered two more (both of which looked MUCH better), chose the best-looking one, and sent the others back. One shouldn't have to jump through such hoops to get a cutting board that doesn't have obvious flaws. So, while the design is absolutely gorgeous, I have to subtract two stars for quality control and slippery varnish (which defeats the board's purpose).

My wife wanted a sturdy cutting board and this does not disappoint. Very made and great value to cost. I did add rubber feet to one side so essentially making a top and bottom as we have seen cutting boards last longer with a regular oil and keeping of the direct counter top. Very happy with this board

This is a great cutting board. Heavy duty, with nice handles built in on either end.

This cutting board is very thick and quite heavy--which should keep it from warping and breaking apart (compare its weight to the weights of other boards which are the same size); but I highly recommend it as these attributes all but guarantee a lifetime of service. The manufacturer recommends regular maintenance with applications of vegetable oil. I apply a homemade beeswax mineral oil compound (1c oil/2 oz. wax).
