The vest isn't super heavy even when loaded up all the way so its great for beginners but I found a hack that can let you increase the weight for relatively cheap giving you an super easy way to max out your vest's potential... So after using this vest for a long time to boost the weight I looked for small weights to try and add and ended up buying some adjustable ankle/wrist weights. The ones I found on amazon came in different weights as well! I used the velcro from the vest side and matched it up with the ankle weights and BAM! the weight of the expensive vests for less $ with options on how much more weight you want to add. I even added the ankle weights in stages since they come in a two pack. The vest is more than sturdy enough to handle adding a bit extra to it.
