Great value here, had read good reviews elsewhere online and price was very reasonable. Unboxing revealed a very unassuming speaker, no major crossover networks and not much too it, also disappointed they didn’t have spring terminals as advertised. After installing, pleasantly surprised by sound quality! I have a hi-end audiophile system and to my ears these sound great. I installed in master bedroom and bathroom, replaced 20 yr old klipsch scr-1’s and sound is much better now. I ended up soldering my own spring terminals. The frames are light and no real housing, but I had speaker boxes and insulation from previous set. At less than $20/speaker you really can’t beat the value for the sound quality you get. I’m happy.

Had these installed in my home ceiling livingroom and kitchen, powered by a yamaha receiver, which is paired to a big 10" polk sub https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002KVQBA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Sound output is amazing, high volume, very clear. Get these for any/all home audio projects and never look back.

I didn’t think I would use these as much since we have a media room. But for our high ceilings, sound is still great.

Have not used does not work for the system that I have.
