Is this really okay for dry clean only fabrics? And it won't leave any spots on light colored fabrics?

You can test on a small hidden portion but I have never had any issues or staining, even on dry clean fabrics. It is not a cleaning solution and because you must lightly and not soak, it has always worked for me. I love this product. Unless I have to have a starched, ironed shirt or pants...this stuff is a life saver.

If I also plan to use a steamer, which would I use first?

If you're planning on using a steamer you wouldn't need the wrinkle released, unless you want the fresh scent. The Downy wrinkle released leaves clothes a bit damp (dries quickly though).

Is anyone else having a problem with the spray bottle leaking all over the place when in use? I’m getting very little spray, but liquid is running do

As a suggestion you can take off the spray trigger and replace it with just about any other trigger or just transferred to another bottle, this kind of thing happens from time to time. It's just a default in the trigger sprayer.
