Damage Therapy Derma Conditioner Dryness + Itch for Flaky Scalp with Pyrithione Zinc and Coconut Oil 12 Fl Oz

This conditioner and the matching shampoo saved my scalp and hair. I have thick, medium length curly hair and tried using some sulfate-free shampoo, as it was supposedly good for my type of hair: it was not good! At the end my scalp was an itchy, flaky mess and my curls looked like caveman hair (not the look I was going for). This Dove shampoo and conditioner combo fixed my scalp and curls within a few washes. The smell is pleasant, not too strong-I get sneezy with overly scented products, but this does not make me sneezy. The moisture level is perfect, does not build up or weigh down my curls, and makes my hair soft. I feel like the price is worth it, for the reasons mentioned above, and I also feel like a little goes a long way with this conditioner, so a bottle lasts a long time.

I rarely leave reviews but I had scalp issues for so long, tried so many products....this conditioner is a miracle. I had good results with Neutrogena T/Sal shampoo, but any conditioner I used after would basically negate it’s benefits. I stopped using conditioner and while my scalp improved my hair suffered a lot. Chopped it all off to facilitate care, but it still looked bad (but I’d take bad hair over really embarrassing dandruff any day). I decided to give this a try because it was cheap and I like other Dove products. It is amazing. Put it all over my scalp and hair, it leaves everything moisturized. I still use Neutrogena T/Sal shampoo for maintenance once a week but I found that for everyday wear the ProBliva Antifungal shampoo works really well (it’s pricey, but smells way better and does less damage to hair). Give these products a try! The key is to be patient and use it consistently, let any product sit on your scalp for at least 3 minutes. Best of luck to all snowy heads out there, I feel your pain.

Shampoo works great! My hair looks nice and my scalp feels better.

I prefer the separate products to an all in one like Head and Shoulders. This works well with its companion shampoo. This is the first conditioner I have used that claims to be anti-dandruff. After a couple of weeks, I can say it appears to be doing its job. Hair feels great, definitely reduces dandruff, eliminates itching.

Nice shampoo' smells great. The only thing I do not like is my head is still itchy.
