Perfect fit and maximum sun protection
These are ideal for situations where you need to block out as much light as possible. Unlike prescription sunglasses I can quickly slip these on and off over my regular glasses and these are a fraction of the price so I can have several pairs and keep them in the car without worrying about damage from high temperatures. These fit perfectly over my small rectangular glasses without looking too bulky. In the past I have used clip-ons and photochromic lenses. Because of the side panels, these provide much better protection than clip-on sunglasses, and work in the car unlike photochromic lenses. However, the side shields do slightly impair peripheral vision and the lenses are not polarized. I also have some LensCovers over-prescription sunglasses which also fit comfortably but have polarized lenses. The LensCovers have a slightly less blocky style, but don't fully cover the temples on my glasses. I like the Escort's but prefer the LensCovers for driving where the polarized lenses are helpful in reducing glare and peripheral vision is important. Because of the added weight, I find that wearing any over-prescription eyewear for more than a few hours to be uncomfortable. This is not a problem most of the time, but for extended use I still prefer my prescription sunglasses.

A great look from both sides of the lenses
I bought these safety glasses as part of a set of three glasses: green, yellow, and clear lenses. The vendor's deal on buying a set of three is unbeatable. The primary user of these glasses is my adult daughter who is studying jewelry design at college. The set has worked out really well. They fit comfortably over her regular glasses and are less bulky. She uses the 3 different pairs depending upon what she is doing bench work vs. mini torch. The glasses have held up well. I would recommend getting a storage case for them just to prevent lens scratches in a tool box. The glasses are light weight and the little side window is nice for peripheral vision. The dark green pair could be used for fit over sunglasses. The yellow would work for field glasses as well. They do fit over most adult eyeglasses. If you have large round lenses in your glasses you may have trouble wearing them but if your glasses lenses are more rectangular shaped then no they should fit just fine. I would recommend these saftey glasses as an economical buy.

Good Glasses
These are some really good glasses. They do fit over prescription eyewear, and they are excellent sunglasses. I use them a lot while I'm biking, and in the cold weather they do provide a great deal of wind protection. They are kind of bulky, but they do the job, and you can't tell that you are wearing glasses under them. The only complaint is that the side visibility is not that great. The lower portion of the frame is right in the way of a quick glance over my shoulder, and the view quality of the side shield is not that great. They seem to be well built, however, and I think they will serve me well.

Excellent value, cheap sunglasses
I had been looking for tinted safety glasses for quite some time. I've owned several pairs of AO Safety glasses that are large enough for me to wear over a prescription pair of glasses, but they stopped selling the model that I typically buy. These fit the bill quite nicely. They are inexpensive, small profile (for overlay glasses), lightweight, and are Z87.1 "high impact" rated (+S). The side shade works OK, but the frame does block some peripheral vision. There is a top and bottom shade that drastically reduces glare -- Much better than my old AOS+S glasses. I bought an amber pair as well as the "smoke" gray dark tint, and I find that having two different options is quite helpful. I wear the amber glasses in lower-light conditions, such as early morning or early evening, or when it's overcast. Both are 99% UV blockers.

Great protective sunglasses you can wear over regular glasses
I bought these for two reasons: to have protective eyewear for when I do volunteer trail maintenance work where I'm around chain saws, and also to keep in the car for driving. I wear graduated focus lenses, and they cost a lot. I'm paying close to $500 for them. I was buying sunglasses in this prescription for the same amount of money. And, if I left them in my car, the heat would screw up the coatings! I bought these and they're great. These fit fine over my regular sized glasses, give me UV protection, and I can take them out on the trails for work. Also, the little side windows give me good peripheral vision. I use them all the time now.

I Really Like These Glasses
I really like these glasses. They are a good fit on my face and prescription glasses. My prescription glasses fit inside the safety glasses nicely and they are very comfortable. I was worried they would not fit over my prescription glasses or be such a terrible fit I could not wear them but this is not the case. I have something I can wear doing my yard work while protecting my eyes(from work & the sun) and prescription glasses. My prescription glasses measure 5 1/2" across & 1 1/2" down. Each lens measures 2 1/3" x 1 1/2'. I also bought the yellow lens glasses and I got the clear ones for inside work or late evening yard work.

Plastic smell in the heat
These glasses would have been useful to me, and did fit over my glasses alright, but they gave off an acrid smell in the heat. I didn't even want to have them sitting in a hot car when I wasn't using them because the smell burned my nose. The lenses might be polycarbonate, but the frames are something more toxic. I wouldn't have bought them if I knew that, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I also found them heavy in the front. Luckily, I have the glasses I was trying to replace for over my Rx glasses--I appreciate them all the more now. And I have some really great sunglasses that I bought at the same time that I bought the Escort glasses. These are the DeWALT Protector Smoke Lens Safety Glasses Sunglasses, for when I am not wearing RX glasses, and these are the greatest ever. The escort glasses block a lot of peripheral vision (up and down) while the DeWalt give vision all around, all with sunglass protection. Maybe someone will design like this for over glasses eventually, but I guess it doesn't exist yet.

Decent alternative to prescription or clip on
Bought these because I'm required/restricted to wearing my glasses while I drive-while prescription glasses are just priced out of this world, I wanted to find something I could wear; have had in the past clip on sun glasses but when I bought these new glasses that I wear they are a really narrow design and I cannot find a good clip on set. My dad bought some of these from a pharmacy, some knock off brand for all I know and they looked awful but I liked the idea so I looked on here found these, they looked good so I gave them a shot. They are okay....from the pictures and the reviews I read, I thought they would actually be smaller and look more like a regular pair of sunglasses and one wouldn't be able to tell they are ones you wear over the glasses. They are a little bigger than the pictures, they fit okay, the plastic feels a little heavy and kind of snug on the bridge of my nose....not a big fan of the openings on the side, that's just me, some may like it. They do serve the purpose so for that, I would say if you're looking for a lower cost alternative to prescription or clip on, I would say give these a shot. Hope they work well for you.
