A simple, trustworthy double lamp outdoor fixture that mounts well vertically or horizontally.
This fixture appears to be well-constructed (looks like coated aluminum) and will probably last indefinitely under the eaves of my house. This is a grounded fixture, so ensure that you have a ground wire to connect (although it does technically work without), and be aware that the lamp sockets are recessed about an inch, so some bulbs with larger shoulders (flared) won't fit (though most standard Edison bulbs should). The pictured install required extensions to fit these flared LED bulbs (no fault of the fixture). Install was very simple, the fixture is supplied with moisture gaskets, and she booted up with no issues on the first switch. I'm a happy camper, and I imagine you will be too. Good value for the money: recommended.

Bright lights
Easy to install . They come on at dusk and turn off at daylight. I bought 2 of them after having someone break into our car. They light up the entire side of my house.

Happy with lights, functioning well x2 months
I used these to replace 2 units without photo sensors (guesstimated at about 10 years old). "Good" quality by today's standards (okay ... starting to sound like an old timer here, aren't I ...). Housing appears decent strength, finish is fine for distance from which it will be viewed. Not too bad to adjust the aim of bulbs - about like other similar lights of decent quality with which I've worked. Gasket is ... HA HA HA!!! ... basically flimsy and a complete joke. Machine bolts were too short for my application (junction box recessed 1/4 - 3/8" above down-facing plane of soffit, mounting flush to soffit) so I dug up some longer ones from my stash. Used my own wirenuts so I had correct size for # and gauge of wires given wiring configuration in my application (but to be honest, though small, at least the wirenuts that were included had metal threads in them). The 2 units I bought look good and function well, turning on and off appropriately, over 2 mo or so they've been up. I put exterior flourescent floods in them and they work as expected. I'm hoping for quite a few years of service and based on the "decent" build quality, while I may not get 20 years, I think they'll probably do okay. I don't like reviews "right out of the box," that don't put the product through its paces, but I don't figure a review years down the road will be helpful. These seem to NOT be your budget cheap-o junk stuff, but aren't really high end either. Seem to be good compromise for value. I'd say I'd buy it again but if I'm doing that soon, it's because they failed and then I'd probably not be as happy. So for now I'll say I recommend them for those looking for good value on basic dusk-to-dawn flood light :) ====================\ update - they are still going strong over a year later. Happy with product. As above, still think they are "good" quality, not top quality so I'll stick with 4 starts, but for price, over year without trouble, I would recommend them and would not hesitate to buy them again or recommend them. Just know you may need/want to use your own bolts, wirenuts, etc.

Great price, working fine after a year in!
I've installed three of these so far around my house, and all three have performed as expected. I've had them for maybe a year now. No issues, direct fit to the existing box for the old light fixtures I had outside. Tip for install, don't be like me and forget to put the gasket in until after you wired it together. I found it easier to push the screws through the cover and then through the gasket, before wiring everything together. The gasket will hold your screws so you don't drop them, and your screws will hold your gasket right where you need it to be.

PAR bulbs required
These require PAR bulbs for the sensor to work properly. Other than that it is a nicely made unit, easy to install, and works well as long as the proper bulbs are used.

May not last for years and years, so ...
I mounted this light fixture on a pole attached to a weather resistant box. Worked perfectly, until now - which is two years and two months after purchase. A couple of nights ago I realized the light was not on and it was dark outside. As I stood looking out the window pondering a solution I thought I saw a flash of light, so I continued to watch the pole. As the minutes passed I noticed several flashes from the lamps, each a little longer until the light stayed on. I can only assume the photocell has failed. It was not twilight, it was very dark and the light should have been on. But what can you expect for approximately $15. So I will buy it again - the warranty is only a year. Maybe I will come up with a better solution but for now this lamp works well - when it works.
