Perfect Ethernet alternative
I've been using this for a while now and it has been great. I haven't been able to run Ethernet so hooking this up was great. It worked right away and is small enough to hide away. Great speed and connection.

Great Product
It was an easy installation. I’m working on a homelab server project, so I’ve learned a lot from setting this up, and it works great. I’m getting 900+ Mbps download and 900+ Mbps upload with no issues. The only challenge was that my home’s coaxial lines weren’t MoCA-ready, but I worked around it by using a switch, and everything runs perfectly now. Overall, it’s a great product and very affordable.

They work. Good for places where cable is already run.
These things work right out of the box. No fussing around with software or setup or special nonsense. Plug each end into your cable feed in some Ethernet and you have a hard line to somewhere. Pricey but worth it!

Trendnet MoCa 2.5
I've owned these now for a week, on a dedicated coax connect between floors, and are working with NO problems. I fine them a bit pricey but are working great. I would recommend.

Easy setup, fast speeds! Perfect replacement!
I have been using an old Actiontec Fios router that I was using as a MOCA bridge that was a pain to set up a decade ago. I've always felt like it could be faster and looked into it and found it couldn't keep up with my current Gig speed internet but put off changing it out in fear the new solution would be another pain and maybe not even work as I expected. I was so wrong. This was super easy to install! I unplugged the old router and attached the Trendnet adapter and it just worked straight out of the box! No IP configs, no bridging, nothing. Plug and play. And it's way smaller! I tested the speeds throughout the day today with the old router and was getting about 151 down / 130 up all day. The new router gave me instant upgrade to 779 down/ 415 up!! Cannot recommend this product enough. Hope it lasts forever!

Delivered on performance.
Recently moved into a new home and their service point for the ISP is in the garage. It was a coaxial cable service and I switched to a 2GB Fiber Optic multi-year contract. So they had coax cable originate at the point of service and into the bedrooms two stories up. When I switched to 2GB Fiber Service all I had was my ISPs provided fiber optic modem/router combo with WiFi 6 features, but has a 10GB SFP port. WiFi just can't compete with direct wired connections, especially for the speed. I wasn't getting the 2GB speeds over WiFi in my office and realized the house was wired with COAX cable I could use instead of installing new CAT6 cable, which would have been $$ and frustrating. These MoCA adapters were cheaper than the alternative and perform as described. I'm seeing speeds I never dreamed of a couple years ago for the price I'm getting it at. Highly recommend this product! I have to clean up the cables/wires, but this product was exactly what I was looking for.

Life changing device!
Why did it take me soooo long to hear about this!?? Living in a large, brick home that has a FIOS modem & router on one end of it and attempting to use a range extender for streaming at the other end of it was NOT working. At. All. Then the old COAX "cable boxes" get shut down and replaced with wireless devices. Which meant attempting to relocate the modem and router (and crawling under a 30 year old house to drill holes for new wires...NO THANK YOU). My son came home from college & said MoCA was the answer. So I delved into the world of MoCA. 1. The new Verizon Fios routers ARE compatable. There seemed to be alot of yes/no discussion around this. 2. You only need 1 box if your router is compatible. The set up was very simple. Coax line in wall. Box. TV. My son said something about direct connecting to ethernet for gaming speeds (which he uses when home), but that means nothing to me. I now can stream movies/TV with no lag, freezing, buffering or Interruption. Yay! And I know it saved me upwards of $800 by not having to have someone come run new lines throughout my house.

Do not buy!
Unless you have two coaxial systems in your house, this useless product will not work. Customer service was friendly but could not address false advertising. They also kept insisting that I needed to follow the Quick Installation Guide which was a joke as they show internet service coming into the house through the air! This internet signal enters the house by magic. Then you capture that signal somehow and connect it to a router. Once you have achieved this feat, you are all set because now you can connect the router to the adapter and then connect a coaxial cable from the adapter to an unused coaxial port. Now don’t forget that this port is unused because you don’t need it to bring the internet cable into the house because you previously magically got that signal through the air. Using a cable splitter does NOT work. Two Trendset reps finally told me to just connect the two adapters to each other completely bypassing the entire coaxial system in my house!! I got a comcast tech to come and he could not do anything. He said that if one does not have two coaxial systems say one was used for cable and another was used for a satellite dish, then the adapters will not work. Or you pay someone to run another coaxial wire through the walls of your house to connect two rooms. I wasted many hours trying to make this useless adapter work including watching various how to videos. Needless to say I am returning this terrible product including all the various coaxial and Ethernet cables that I had to buy separately as no cables were included in the box! Who needs cables when you can get high speed internet through the air?
